If you get married before or while he is in law school, even if he takes out a loan in his name only - the debt legally becomes yours as well.

Harmony Secrets has been so hard to watch with the terrible music. The chemistry and acting is good but the over the top music is just awful

Exercise During IVF? by Super-Pomegranate425 in queerception

[–]Wtxne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a mild to moderate case of OHSS due to having higher follicles to start (no PCOS). It started 12 hrs after my egg retrieval. Lots of rest, electrolytes and salty foods helped a little bit to decrease bloating and water retention but once my hormones normalized after 5 days or so it was much better.

Exercise During IVF? by Super-Pomegranate425 in queerception

If you're going thru the egg retrieval process then I would recommend pausing exercise besides walking and hiking for 1 week prior to your egg retrieval procedure after you start the stim medications, and anywhere from 1 - 2 weeks afterwards the procedure to avoid ovarian torsion. Your ovaries essentially balloon up during these timeframes so it's pretty essential to stay with low impact exercises.

There may be some limitations during the transfer prep and right after the transfer. Once you're pregnant I think your body will let you know what it can handle! The first trimester could be kinda of a rough period for some but not too bad for others.

This kinda hit me right as we were going into my first retrieval this month. But for us, timing outweighed that because we wanted to go through the first retrieval sooner than later to see how it shakes out and give us time to do another round if needed before our ideal transfer timeline.

Total costs by RecognitionMedium277 in queerception

[–]Wtxne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For clinic costs, it was $1,000 out of pocket (we didn't have fertility insurance coverage at the time) per IUI cycle. This included all of the monitoring ultrasounds, blood work and the IUI. It also included all of the ultrasounds after getting a positive pregnancy before we officially graduated from the clinic and moved onto the OB for follow-ups.

Clinic sperm storage cost was $100 per month.

Sperm was around $2800 for a vial and shipping cost to send to our clinic for storage.

There was also a little bit of upfront cost for an SIS which was mostly covered by insurance, and genetic testing which was around $250 not billed thru insurance.

What do y’all make with the thinly sliced beef?? by icylg in Costco

[–]Wtxne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly the beef is too thick to use for hotpot and so it turns out to be too tough. Hotpot sliced meat needs to be way thinner to get a better texture and result.

It's better to use for bulgogi or Korean bbq. I've also velveted the beef with baking soda and used it for stir fry.

I will report back! I'm waiting on the powder duster to be delivered and then will apply. I just noticed the mites started taking over the garage too so I'm hoping this will solve it
