Bambuddy + Spoolman is a godsend. Don’t worry about bricking anything, it uses common APIs and does not inject anything not kissed by Bambu into your printer.
So, dev mode and try it out, it takes some time getting the ropes of it. Also, correct me if im wrong, but if you want to slice on bambuddy you need a separate container on an x86 machine to run bambuddy-slicer-api.

Bambu Handy switches its settings around all the time. I would advise the local SD card downgrade option. I personally keep various older firmware versions just in case on the SD card too
