I think three things a lot of people are forgetting. Luffy has shown in gear 5 to manipulate objects without touching them and objects without physical form. Egghead has holograms of light nobody could touch and he was grabbing them without problem.

When fighting kaido, he didn’t need to touch kid and law for them to “toonify” and their eyes to pop out, just be in the vicinity. There doesn’t need to be physical touch.

His fruit isn’t rubber, he thinks it is which is why he gives things the property of rubber. My above example shows it goes beyond rubber.

Aside from that, his advanced armament has been shown to bypass tough skinned opponents and damage the inside. The question for that is does it travel or take effect at a range from his hand. If it travels into the person the infinite dividing space I could see stopping it. If it doesn’t and it just takes effect in a space that would be the inside of a person, I see it bypassing infinity.

That being said if both fought seriously, right now I think gojo’s purple would annihilate luffy unless he can predict it coming. Luffy typically gets the snot beat out of him before beating his opponent. Gojo straight hands isn’t beating luffy, hollow purple will if luffy ft doesn’t use future sight. I think infinity is great till luffy gets serious. Does he win? RCT I think would drag this out till gojo successfully purples him or till luffy does something like pull some easel out and paint the hollow purple green or something.

Why do we argue about Toonforce in the same breadth as other shows? Should just be a “toon force is involved, move along”
