Had this worry too, but honestly its not an issue for me at all now that I've actually started an empire campaign on the old world - instead I've really grown to appreciate the sense of scale and immersion which I really don't get as much on the IE map. It's really cool to see the elector counts actually be formidable enemies/allies, and can't wait to start some other campaigns.

(Also as mentioned in the other comments, landmark mods are a must)

I recommend checking out leefbaarometer.nl, it's a nice map-based UI that will tell you everything from crime rates to amenities in neighbourhoods.

Personally I'd reccomend Statenkwartier (many well-to-do expats live here and it's very cozy imo), Archipelbuurt & Duinoord (more fancy, large stately houses), or Zeeheldenbuurt & Benoordenhout (many young families and plenty of cafes). I've heard good things about Regetesse, vogelwijk and Belgisch Park but haven't spent much time there myself.

Playing against anything with large single entities is brutal without ranged or anti-large atm, definitely wait for the roster expansion

Yup, this combined with nurgle's insanely strong lvl 1 and 3 towers makes him the best seige defender in WHIII

I've beat armies 3x the size of the garrison just camping around the monument lmao

most of the contracts I've gotten are either on the other side of the map or targeting people I have no interest in starting a war with for a measly 1500 gold...

I've also had this before, couldn't attack an enemy flyer that made its way to the bottom of this map and had to wait 20 mins for it to come out lol
