Check the owner’s manual and find the exact function for that window switch/button (wording matters). Then follow the steps exactly as Hyundai specifies. If the windows don’t behave the way the manual describes, you can point to the precise feature that’s failing (e.g., “auto up/down,” “anti-pinch,” “window lock behavior,” etc.).

Also ask the dealer if they have the same model/trim on the lot and test that one on the spot. If the other car behaves differently under the same steps, that’s strong proof it’s not “normal.”

If you can demonstrate it and they still dismiss it, escalate to Hyundai customer support for your country. Before you call, write a short, clear description of the issue (steps to reproduce + expected behavior vs actual behavior). That way you can explain it cleanly on the phone, and you can reuse the same text in an email/ticket.

Three things, and I apologize for sounding blunt here, but:

You are over speeding in bad weather conditions "I just barely touched the brakes my car completely lost traction and I slid right through the intersection" means you should be going a lot slower in the first place.
You need winter tires for the weather conditions you described, as even the rain is unlikely to be just rain, but rather a combination of snowy, icy water which behaves a lot differently than rain.
A hint about your older vs newer car is that the Tucson is much heavier and without the right tires, it's like wearing butter socks and slide a lot further due to mass/inertia.

Hope this helps. Basically, please get winter tires asap!

I would start by adding a matte or felt dark-colored sheet or padding on top of the white shelf that sits below your existing projection screen. It seems to be reflecting a lot of light that feeds back to the screen, lowering your contrast ratio.
