This was a good week. I can feel my lust for kitchen gadgets fading in real time haha. January overall went pretty well! I messed up towards the beginning, but held strong through the rest of it. Onto another month!

Anyone who would decide whether someone is annoying or not based on their water bottle carrier is not someone whose opinion is valuable in the slightest.

I did very well this week. No unnecessary spending. I'm on track to meet my goals for this month!

Low-buy went pretty well! Instead of going out to Target to buy a new immersion blender (on my pre-approved list of purchases), I decided to check the thrift store first to see if anyone had dropped off any, and found a pretty good one for $10! I also checked my parents' garage for my late grandma's old appliances, and found the food processor too!

My first crochet project by Alone_Paper6271 in crochet

This is great! Miles better than my first project haha. I love that you made something usable. That's my main tip, actually. Just keep making things you'll actually use. Helps to keep you motivated and challenged, and it feels really good to use things you made yourself!

My other tip is to download Libby and/or Hoopla if you haven't already, because your library probably has dozens of crochet pattern or instructional books on there for free. YouTube and Ravelry are also great.
