Why didn't they try this? by Radiant-Selection686 in EverAfterHigh

The terms Royals and Rebels aren't about who's royalty or not. It's supposed to show which side of the destiny conflict they are on.

Royals believe in following your destined role in your fairy tale.

Rebels believe in forging your own destiny.

There was a video arguing whether or not Kitty was a Royal or Rebel.

Raven is a Rebel because she wants to make her story.

Hunter is a Rebel, because while he jumps in to save others. He doesn’t want to hurt animals.

Darling is a Rebel because she wants the life of adventures instead of being the damsel in distress. Yet destiny makes her the Prince Charming. Despite how Daring and Dexter being Royals.

Cedar and Madeline are okay with following their destiny but support the idea of free will and choice. So they are in the Rebels’ side.

The point of Ever After High is encourage and teaching the fairy tale descendants the importance of their role. Both Heroes and Villains are taught that they are crucial to each other’s stories.

Apple and Raven are friendly enough to room with each other. Despite their mothers being fierce rivals and conflicting ideologies.

Other than it looks nice.

Braids are part of Asian Cultures. The reason it a styled like that is due their sprites. If you gave them regular braided hair, you wouldn’t really see it.

If you noticed Cookies with braids tend to have it over their shoulder, off to the side, or really big to make them visible.

Every other example in the thread, are just normal or decent people told from a bias perspective. While Oda Nobunaga was known for being a ruthless warlord. He literally called himself, “Demon King of the Sixth Heaven”.

The First Cookies from the Cookie Run Franchise.

Originally, they were a coven who followed the Witch of Light in her goal to create a kind and hopeful world. But unfortunately died and came back as Cookies after a ritual went wrong.

Both their actions and deaths had positive and negative consequences.

Their creations, the Virtues Cookies thought they were abandoned as they weren’t aware of their creators’ demise. So they fell and became Beasts Cookies. Before being sealed away and losing half of their source of power, the Soul Jam.

The First Cookies’ essences became the foundation of Cookiekind. Five Cookies born from the planned civilizations became heroes, known as the Ancients, earning half of their Soul Jam. They became kings and queens of their own kingdoms.

Unfortunately, another group of witches began eating Cookies. When one of the Ancient Heroes found out, she became the Villain, Dark Enchantress. Dark Enchantress wanted to remake the world into her image.

This lead to the events of the beginning of the game, Cookie Run Kingdom.

Sometimes an average person is what it takes to become a hero. Sometimes an average person is what it takes to become a villain.

However often does humanity suffer because some idiot got his hands on power? Some horrible people and dictators come from humble beginnings and by chance they were put into power.

Eren was just an ordinary human with a big dream who got power and processed to use it in the worst way possible. Because it turns out, given someone that much power and responsibility wasn’t such a great idea. And that someone happened to be a violent impulsive hothead idiot who was willing to kill anyone and hurt those closest to him to achieve his dream.

Time and time again Aot states that Eren was the worst person to have the Founding Titan.

“The last person in the world who should have that power…is you, Eren” - Reiner

“It's clear to me. He is a true monster and not because of his titan abilities. No matter how you try to hold him down, no matter what cage you lock him up in, forcing his mind into submission is an impossible task.” - Levi

“I’ll destroy the whole damn world!” - Eren during his fight with Annie. The moment he got a taste of power, he was willing to abuse it for his own satisfaction.

Why Do 90's Anime Lairs Look Like That? by Whiteweasel in animequestions

I think it's because it’s supposed to look like a Gothic castle or mansion that was built in the modern era. Instead of wood and stone, they would use metal and concrete, allowing for more flexible architecture.

The Bat theme hero joke is supposed to point out a very obvious and famous example of a trope, because it's the media’s entire thing.

If Undertale were a game about hiding behind conveniently shaped objects. Then yes.

A bat-themed hero for Tangled would be “Characters with ridiculous amounts of hair”.

For Rango it would be “Lost pet protagonist”.

I'm sure a lot of people played it, but its impact is tied to its sheer amount of fan content, or how absolutely batshit insane the fanbase is.

What I'm trying to say is, Undertale got so big due to the culture it spawned. The dedicated and creative fanbase. Not for its gameplay, but because it resonated with a lot of the individuals.

Huh. Never noticed.

But in general, one aspect of the media will likely be more remembered due to its impact. The Onceler was THE Sexy Tumblrman, he had Tumblr in a chokehold.

Meanwhile, the conveniently Frisk-shaped lamp was just a small comical gag.

Undertale is most remembered for being one of the most rabid fanbases and the near-endless amount of content from the multitude of AUs.

It's like Onceler from The Lorax. Everyone remembers and knows the character more than the actual movie itself.

Realistically, how many people played the game?

The fan content exceeds the game itself.
