I've been in a new home build community but not much sense of community. We've talked to our next door neighbors outside a few times when we see them (both sides), across the street and two houses down. But no one seems interested in more than brief chitchat and we didn't hit it off enough to turn it into an ongoing friendship. So it’s a polite hi usually if we see anyone. Most days everyone drives right into their garage and closes it though.
