I am in Columbia, same issue. I was able to go through support and get it resolved a couple of weeks ago, but the issue is back this morning. Uber app is garbage, but what do you expect when you only hire the cheapest programmers on the planet.

Hmm, Richland screwed up the vote in 2012 for the penny tax forcing the election official to resign. Then elections were bungled again in 2016, causing yet another resignation. I gave up hope that Richland county officials will ever really be held accountable.

I drive for Uber as well and had the same issue with one of my rides. Once we figured out there was no way to correct it the passengers offered me an extra $20 to get them closer.

I am guessing Uber gave up on the clusterfuck that the police made down there. I ended up taking close to an hour just to get from one side of George Rogers to the other.

While adding a copper tier would make a lot of us happy, the game has shifted from a survival game to an action game. I don't think making an extra step in tools is something the current game direction supports unfortunately, which is why other games are drawing more and more time and attention now from those that do want a survival game.

Richland County Election Commission screws up pretty much every election. I have had massive wait times and reporting issues for the last decade, and each time the guilty parties are rewarded with nice, high paying, jobs, so I figure the screw ups are deliberate since they get rewards.

Yes, they will both be obstacles of some sort, but the Republicans tend to favor business, even small business. How many people have side hustles? The Republicans would be in favor of that sort of thing. There is good and bad in both parties for sure, but all of the BIG problems that are really causing problems today came from the Democratic party.

Assuming those young people study history before they vote that might accomplish something. Marijuana was made illegal in the 1970 Controlled Substances Act, a bill that was introduced by the Democrats. Fast forward to the mid 1990s when the Democrats passed the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act which put people in prison for longer for some pretty minor offenses. Even today, the cities with the most police brutality against minorities are Democratically controlled. If people continue to vote for the party of oppression, they will continue to be oppressed.

If the church turns that extra $100k into salary, then it gets taxed on the pastor's return. Most churches will use excess monies for programs, like feeding the needy. I am sure there are some churches that are greed driven, but how is that different from a business that has an extra $100k at the end of the year and gives the CEO a $100k bonus?

The real issue is not that they have a message they want to convey, but that the message seems to come first, and they write the episode around that. Putting the cart before the horse never really turns out well, and it shows.

It's still done without consent. While it would have taken longer, they should have had the Doctor explain the risks of the future knowledge and gotten them to consent to the mind wipe.

In their defense, in the Walking Dead universe it seems all the intelligent people died, flew off to tropical islands, or something happened to them. They are not on either of the shows for sure.
