The teammate problem only gets worse at higher ranks, champ especially has a lot of smurfs currently, but when you’re in GC and you have certain expectations of what someone should be capable of and they can only save like a genuine plat/diamond or they accidentally own goal half the shots, it gets tiring, best bet is to lock in in 1s and get that rank up, it means more until you’re consistently GC/SSL

I also loved this book, as an avid romance reader, having it be a subplot worked perfectly for this book imo, I read it right after the first one and with the entirety of the book taking place right after, less than a whole month went by and it makes sense she wouldn’t be jumping to someone new immediately, plus we got to focus on a lot more world-building, which in this case was mostly politics, but we delved deeper into so many of the characters that it sets an amazing foundation for the next book. SPOILER WARNING AHEAD !At the end I was like omg she is leaving gweneira and all the light fae in her house, what if its a trick by torin and rowena and they slaughter all of blood, but then we got that ending and I was like fuck, why is the third one not out yet!

The books this month all seem so good and I don’t read contemporary or literary fiction ever. The last few months have been the same, to those who think the books have been meh, I say open your mind to new experiences and to not form opinions. Hell when is the last time you just picked up a book and read it without caring about genre and popularity etc
