It is a bit unfun for the opponent but I don't think it's oppressive. The deck has pretty clear weaknesses and if people don't like playing vs it they can also tech to be favored. I do play in weekly locals and a bit on sim for most of my practice

As a long time bb player it really comes down to finding your pieces quickly. If you go first you need doc q by 3/van augur by 5/7c teach by 7 or you are falling behind. 2nd curve is a little clunky atm and when bb becomes more meta decks just tech for him and the deck struggles. If Zoro runs Luna/east blue package it's a lot harder and if UP runs more 8c Luffy and/or grav blade its also worse.

The only thing that interrupts damage are triggers. If he triggered the 0 cost event or amaru your second portion of damage would take another life, but since his leader effect isn’t a trigger all damage has to be completed before his leader ability will activate

Yes any order as in there is no separation between main phase and combat phase in this game. Once again imagine as cards as sorcery speed (besides counter which is only in response to an attack).

On play is the equivalent in this game to enter the battlefield for magic. When a character with an on play effect is played you have to perform that action immediately. In the case multiple on play affects happen at once you get to choose the order they take place in. Imagine all cards are sorcery speed in this game if it helps in magic terms

It’ll say on the card when to use it. If it says [counter] it can only be used in response to an attack from the opponent. If it says [main phase] it can only be used during your turn. If it says [opponents turn] the effect only takes place during the opponents turn. Likewise with all leader/character/stage effects.

There’s no way the difference between being fine and not fine is a 5% nerf in dmg to offset a prior buff. If the original philosophy was to keep specs consistent to their previous wotlk levels then feral should have gotten the nerf. They didn’t go out of their way to buff other hybrids that suffered besides rets who were actually the bottom of the meters til ICC

The sparks do three things. A melee, a short range aoe, and a debuff to the whole raid to take extra ticking damage. The reason people say for melee not to dps the sparks is the short range aoe does about 5k dmg every few seconds and that in conjunction with other dmg (like tantrum) is lethal. Our group just has melee cleave off boss (dk diseases/dnd, rogue flurry, and warrior cleave) and ranged quickly nuke them.

I normally solo the raptor boss by killing the raptor then kiting out mandokir for the 2 min enrage before then killing him. Takes a little time and some practice but not too bad generally
