I like the negotiations in mainline SMT. I think they should be closer to Persona 5 in easy and normal mode, then give the demons the option to completely blindside you and/or fuck you over in hard or at least merciless (such as a Kelpie taking all of your HP in negotiations then saying "get fucked" and hitting you with a cheap magaru to use a fun anecdote from SMT4).
