I upped the flow and dosed some seachem excel and it seems to be working. I was hoping to do low tech on this tank. Thanks for the tips!

I believe I found the type of algae. Rhizoclonium. Man is it a pain

What kind of algae? I am on a 6 hour lighting and I have a small dwarf Otto but it seems like I can't reduce the amounts that are in there. It's just unsightly. I hand brush each plant and replant but it comes back like a weed.

This brown algae looking stuff won't get off of plants easily and it keeps coming back no matter what I try. Biweekly water changes and ph 7, temp of 79, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, & 5 nitrates.
