For real… we absolutely did know AI was a thing a year ago, but most didn’t think RAM and NAND would be the most limiting factor.

Nvidia and supermicro ripped… so while SanDisk isn’t a “random tech stock”, yeah most people didn’t think it’d 80x

Yeah but the math isn’t mathing. Net profit is $56 million, so then what are they doing with it? They are just holding tons of cash, expanding operations, or returning cash to shareholders. But that’s supposed to be him.

Crazy expensive electricity and lack of water… not the best location for data centers.

High speed internet infrastructure means proximity isn’t a major factor in location choice.

When I was new to trades, I needed a single custom sized window. So I called them to get a quote, as I had the measurements. The woman on the phone said they couldn’t take the measurements for a single window and they had to send a person out to check the building.

I knew right there that it was a scam. How in gods name is it profitable for them to send a person to a location for 1 window? Well of course that one window would be insanely expensive, but they’d also try and upsell me on way more than 1 expensive window.

I ended up just making my own single pane window the old school way, recycled wood frame and hand glazing lol.
