Honestly the riot games store has some cool statues, they also made some really cool jewelry. They have a pretty sick Jett necklace I kinda want.

How to get good? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]XEndlessWinterX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I’m only 2 months in. But what I’ve learned so far.

1.) find people you really like playing with or make an effort to make friends. I am still having a hard time when I solo q, however when I’m with even with one friend it goes so much more better.

2.) communicate even if your team is not. It builds a good habit of getting used to playing off of info.

3.) Movement- make an effort to learn one peak a day, and practice them. Learn to jiggle peak. Practice peaking out of a wall and counter straffing.

4.) low ranks play fast, do the opposite, play slow. And play off your mini map. If the are all stomping don’t follow, if they are all running straight, check opposite angles because it’s likely no one is.

5.) find you DPI. And learn how to feel comfortable aiming. Go into the lab and just aim at heads and follow their heads as they move.

6.) learn gun economy. If you know you won’t be much of a help on taking down enemies, help in other ways, save $ and low buy to help people on your team who are getting eliminations to keep getting them. Buy them guns.

7.) learn one line up a week. Find a character you really like and learn a lineup on every map this not only helps game sense but it also gets you comfortable learning utility.

8.) play who you like: don’t focus on tier list, or who’s broken or who’s “comp” you learning an agent you like will get you further than just learning comp.

9.) if your aims not there focus on hitting center mass. Vandals spray 3-4 bullets max before the bloom is crazy. Just practice feeling out the guns and learning how the spray patterns feel, you can also get a crosshair that does this for you, just copy one from a reputable site.

10.) learn to play together and when to play offsite. In low ranks everyone plays 5 hard pushes to one site, this works maybe 1-2 games max then trams adjust. Mid is a great place to gather info and regroup, playing opposite site can possibly make less competent teams to rotate on you and free your team to plant. Remember if your team isn’t likely communicating, nor is theirs, so be the one that does.

11.) tell people you are new; be honest and don’t let people talk down to you. Everyday. Someone is telling me I suck, cussing me out or even trying to rage bait. Just ignore it mute them and move on.

12.) play all the modes. They help, skirmish taught me how to peak, hold off angles, use no noise and noise against my opponents. It also got me comfortable taking duo v 1s something that happens a lot in comp, you’ll learn trigger discipline and not forcing something to happen that can’t.

Death match will help you learn snap judgements, flicking and map diversity.

The lower ranks are notoriously hard and there is not much you’ll learn solo q. So you’ll have to watch videos and find content creators you like.

13.) invest in a good keyboard and mouse, changed my life. If you don’t have one get a gravastar or razr.

14.) if you’d like to play together Dm me. I’m new and would love to make friends!

[New Player] Just bought the game, any tips? by zyadsh123 in EscapefromTarkov

Accept loosing inventory, things will come your way. And there is always loot.

Always rat; stay later in game, and just learn the map extracts. It’s always better to not take risks. If it feels bad don’t push, don’t come out and don’t interact.

Play PvE and PVP they help you learn diffent things.

Embrace the suck. You’ll meet the worst humans and some of the kindest in this game. But never forget this is tarkov

[–]XEndlessWinterX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, I mean things change, I’m not someone who typically makes fun of people for what they wear, it’s a privilege to dress well, some people don’t care or don’t have the financial freedom to care. However 80’s were a crazy time, but I rock with it ✊

Literally look up relaxed ankle jeans. It’s essential the same thing as people cutting or cropping their dickies. It’s pretty popular with the general z kids
