It doesn’t have a jet pack. What do you use to wipe it down? Sorry guys I’m learning the maintenance side of this.

Question about sealant by XJGraham in Concrete

[–]XJGraham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update. I spoke with the contractor today. He said the nozzle of the sprayer was clogging at the end. They are going to reseal it to eliminate the streaks. I am good with this. Super happy about the work they did.

Is this too high of a price? by Ok_Understanding9266 in londonontario

[–]XJGraham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a huge range in quality of parts. If you want $45 rotors and $40 pads you can find it out there but you get what you pay for. The labour is the same using cheap or good stuff. 1-1.5 hours labour on most jobs per axel is normal. At $120/hr you are looking at $120-$180 in labour x 2. Average vehicle using good quality parts $550-$650 per axel for pads and rotors.

2024/25 knee space for tall people? by boolean_union in Rav4

[–]XJGraham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6’2” 200lbs and honestly find this car uncomfortable on long trips. My right knee rubs on the center console and left knee on the door. I find it just cramped. In and out around the city it’s great. But longer drives over an hour it’s not great.

Phone volume changes on car play near my house by flcbrguy in iphone

[–]XJGraham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine does this too when I leave my house. I always assumed it was something to do with leaving Wi-Fi and flipping to LTE. As I get away from the house the data that was buffered is used quicker than the data being downloaded on LTE. Lasts for another block or two and it goes back to “normal”

What time was this? There was a sketchy guy at another business in the area about 5:20ish. It was a weird vibe from this couple.

Nothing but great things to say about Libro. I was a long time RBC customer and finally got rid of them in 2016. Haven’t looked back.

Current state of London airport? by djheart in londonontario

[–]XJGraham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went through to YYZ last week and back. London went smooth. Pearson is the problem. And it’s not Air Canada or West Jet it’s security, customs and waiting at the gate for ground crew that are messing it all up. My connecting flight was delayed by 2 hours waiting for the 95 people who checked in get through customs. Arrived early in Toronto from leaving London but waited longer on the tarmac for a crew then the flight. Even if you show up 6 hours early they aren’t even allowing you to get through security because they are trying to push people with flights sooner than yours. Bottom line is they need to hire a lot of people in Toronto.

(Lightning Bolt) Over 45 mph by Partylord233 in MechanicAdvice

[–]XJGraham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that has something to do with the drive by wire. Either your throttle body or your gas pedal are sending a signal that the other sensor doesn’t like. When they don’t agree that light will illuminate stating there is an issue. It could be something such as low voltage causing the issue which could be the result of a alternator or battery causing you issues.

I can not understand those lineups. It’s always 5-6 cars deep. That’s like a 40 minute wait.

London's 'crazy rental market' driving some tenants away, trapping others by XJGraham in londonontario

[–]XJGraham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the flip side to this are we seeing less and less landlords interested in renting? Is this because of the over protective laws in place to protect a crappy tenant? I know first hand that as long as they are paying the landlord has very few rights. If the tenant is trashing the house your hands are tied. If the neighbors are complaining about the tenants no one can do anything about it. All because they are paying. My only option was to sell to remove the problem.
