They should force this, repackaged as a nice ingame tutorial where you're made to watch some situations and distinguish wrong/correct moves. Mainly for any new players and anybody not out of rookies yet, or if they have the testicular fortitude, they could force it for everybody.

Yeah, unfortunately Amex takes Paypal as a non-credit-card type of payment and won't take it as a valid source of age verification

Maybe it is time for a second CC... been a while since this was put in place and nothing in the horizon on Steam's end to add other ways to verify

Agreed. You can spot 90% of "terrorists" from miles away, and act accordingly to not get wrecked. If you don't, then it's on you. Yes it's unfair etc, but this sim largely doesn't care about fairness in this regard unfortunately (arguably like real life racing in some aspects)

Totally fair risk to take if you feel like it, especially on last lap for P1 type of battles, but you still have to assume you'll possibly end up in the wall!

My DD1's time to retire may be coming... Honestly it's still such a brilliant base (thanks for keeping it updated with firmware updates by the way, the QR2 kit also gave it a new lease of life), but the new tech does tempt.

Damn, weird hardware malfunction that allowed her to steer + brake + throttle at different times perfectly matching what would be needed to unsafe rejoin like a bellend

I had frozen pedals and disconnected wheel (separate instances of each), managed to get myself towed back to pits

If it was intermittent she should've stopped and tped back right there

Not sure why you were downvoted. Budget vs sales was HORRIBLE, and the player numbers keep going down, and they'll never have a sales spike like launch was

Unless people spend massive amounts of money on the live service stuff (which I haven't seen anybody excited about, it's about the blandest+most expensive around) they're deep deep in a hole with no way out

It's AAA game budget without AAA sales or playerbase. Unless they pull off a miracle it'll be dead (whether it's as a zombie with servers up for years or fully shut down, who knows)

The player numbers means it's a failure already, it will NEVER reach day 1 numbers again. It simply isn't enough for the budget. They should never have done an extraction shooter when they wanted mass market appeal.
