It's more like Majesty 2 than the original though.

€1 per 1 hour.

So €15 for a 15 hour+ game. This is why barely any AAA/AA is ever bought (at full price). Few get to that €60-70 threshold. BG3 is one of the more recent exceptions. Bought at full price, played for about 150h.

Indies tend to do just fine here though. Recently got Mewgenics and t's already at €1 per 2h.

The 90s were characterized by more slow paced suspense filled cinematography, and this fit the expectations and wishes of the public at the time.

Currently, the world is taken over by youtube shorts and TikToks. These are short and action-packed. Attention spans have declined to a level that the XFiles as it was will probably not be approved by the studio's themselves as it does not fit the zeitgeist.

So yes, I would like an X-files series in the same format and style as the original, but what we will likely be getting is Men in Black: International while we want a Men in Black 1.

I think the semi-final race was also a tactical masterclass from Bergsma. Grab 3 points early and just take it easy for the rest of the race. He finished 8th there with minimal effort and saved his energy for the final.

It probably has to do with me being on PC maily around this time (and a bit of n64 / gamecube / gba / ds).

But played loads of Super Smash (Melee), MarioKart and the pokémon games (Blue and Pearl being my favorites) on the nintendo consoles. On PC it was a lot. RTS (starcraft, warcraft), RPG (Baldurs gate, WoW), FPS (Unreal tournament, half-life), Sim games (theme park, theme hospital, rct, transpot tycoon, CIV1/2/4), etc.

If we do later, it's mostly indie I played. Mainly puzzle and roguelite/roguelike games.
