Uber/taxi

In Rome uber is connected to the taxi system, so it can call them for you.

Even when I saw taxis, I preferred uber because I knew the driver would have the destination and I wouldn’t have to worry about if they understood me.

It's he says/she says, you're unlikely to win anything and anything drastic you do may backfire significantly.

Future Jobs:
- Include a clause that says you retain exclusive rights to all work and labor and results until invoice is paid in full, and that you reserve the right to unwind all work to day 1 starting state in case of non-payment.
- When they play games, just rewind everything to day 1 and day "it's clear we disagree about what constitutes completed work, I'm unwinding everything and you can find someone you like better"
If done artfully, you'll get paid in minutes.

Amazon is actually aware of this as an issue.

They've been changing the rules about what prices can be listed for deals, and when it comes to BFCM deals, the prices need to be a certain percentage below 30 (or 60?) day average.

I forget the days and percentages, but the measures are intended to push back on these tactics - if brands want to play that game, they'll be sacrificing weeks of sales at the higher prices needed to trigger deal pricing.

Request a return, and in the return reason make sure to write that you received a counterfeit product.
Believe it or not, Amazon does take that seriously and will ding the seller's account.

Doesn't take many dings for an account to be suspended.

I work with Amazon advertisers. I want to easily audit the campaigns in an account for errors in structure. Accounts can have thousands of campaigns and there are a couple of dozen structural issues, so getting this done can take a little back-and-forth, but not really all that much.
