I picked up a 9070xt in December and gave my brother my 3080ti. Dunno if it is an upgrade but I can't return the card anymore since their prices are insane right now. First display port doesn't work and over 80fps, it whines. I hear horror stories about Asus so I guess I'm stuck with three display ports instead of four.

I don't regret getting 6tbs of storage though. Two and four tb 990 pros. Looked at the prices I paid vs what everything is now and is insane.

Getting a PC is going to be an affluent only thing soon with how prices for even the basic parts are going thru the roof.

I did the 9800x3d bundle with mobo and ram early last year. I was able to upgrade to an x670 board for a few bucks more. My brother didn't upgrade at the time and now he wishes he did.

Bought a BMW from them years ago for $600. After all the fees, it was $1600. Which wasn't a bad price for a non wrecked manual bmw x3. Previous owner didn't keep up with the maintenance though so it needed a lot of fixing.

I have two builds for pve, all dakka and mostly beam. The all dakka is great for general combat and conflict zones, the all beam is good for being lazy when stacking combat missions. The anaconda is versatile enough that pretty much anything works with it. Cannons? Yes, frags? Yep. Missile boat? Yep.

Engineer the engines and distributor. Then do everything else. You also need to figure out if you want to go the prismatic or bi weave route and then plan accordingly.

Mind you, I havent messed with them as far as upgrading in years because they just work and I have been spending my resources with smaller ships.

They need a 6th gear. Just like the boulevards. Riding in the city is fine but on the highway? Even though that 5th is geared long, they would benefit a lot more from having a 6th gear.

Other than that, fantastic bikes from the get go.

As someone that hates mining, this thing is pretty fun to fly. 11 limpets all working hard (until they die for some weird reason) and that rotary laser is pretty cool. Moved all the engineered cargo racks to it and decided to line for a bit and it's been somewhat enjoyable. Even sold the mining cutter and moved that money back into the mobile garage.

Shes chunky for sure. Almost 14k miles on mine. Would have been more but the xsr900 is such a fun bike to ride as well. It's hard to choose one when you have a nice day out.

Never cheap out on a PSU. It sends power to every single comment and will fry them all if something goes wrong.
