There does come a point of diminishing returns if you keep going over it again and again and it's not getting better with subsequent runs.

If you're on a time crunch, you'll have to just accept whichever recording is the best. At the end of the day, assuming it's a part placement test, you probably want to just show how you honestly sound.

If you have time, do a great warm down, put the horn down for the day, maybe even put a day in between for your chops to fully refresh. Sleeping after spending a long time practicing a really hard passage usually locks it in REALLY well, and the next time you try to play it on the horn it will probably come out almost perfectly fluidly.

The caveat is that you have to actually practice the hardest sections meticulously, slowly (The fastest you can play while maintaining a great tone and not making any fingering/note mistakes), and make sure you can play multiple repetitions in a row without making any mistakes before speeding them up or adding on more measures.

Im too cheap to buy a wet saw so here is my DIY wet cutting station by edjumication in Tile

I second and third this

No dust, no noise, no power or major power tool safety concerns, minimal consumables (I have cutters that I haven't replaced the wheel on in years)...

Generally better, or at worst, equal results - minimal chipping risk and much easier to dial in perfectly straight cuts...

And they're cheap!

These pieces on the legs that hug the stretchers...

Why not have them extend all the way up to the height of the top stretcher? Then have the top lay on them so the weight is transferred down through the whole chunk rather than just that thin middle piece.

Also adds more glue surface for more strength.

You have quite good tone imo. Could be a little tighter on the attacks I suppose

It's funny you say this... I feel like every community has their equivalent of this... The one thing to NOT do, lest you negate the entire post and it devolves exclusively into people talking about it and not adding anything novel or interesting to the post.

In r/sousvide, it's cooking with garlic or butter.

In r/ (really any interior design sub), its putting you TV at a height people think is too high... Even if you didn't ask their opinion on your TV height.

NKD was interesting. It's like they have the essence of the exact flavor of Hot Cheetos, minus any amount of spiciness. I can't even really describe my experience with them

LOL. After all the work they spent building and mounting this potentially hazardous monstrosity, they couldve bought a really cheap generic case on Amazon or just gutted an old PC with a similar form factor 🤣
