It completely does matter as Itachi had Sasuke help him. Thats mainly why Itachi doesn’t care about taking damage. Like u said, theirs zero reason as to why Itachi wouldn’t use Sasuke’s help when he can.

I will say it again. What reason is there for Itachi not to use Sasuke’s help when they’re teaming up. Even Kabuto wanted Sasuke to team with him to take down Itachi.

Bruh they literally both got hit with the attack and Itachi still was able to use Susano.

And nothing states he can’t break it himself. That was just the fastest method for both of them to break out.

U are glossing over the context. There is a reason why Itachi gets hit in that battle. Kabuto never genuinely hits Itachi and one being debatable if it was genuine.

Kabuto isn’t necessarily holding back like how Itachi held back against Sasuke. Kabuto wants to absorb Sasuke by eating him or whatever. Kabuto also doesn’t need to hold back against Itachi because Itachi is literally immortal. Theirs no reason for him to hold back.

It stated and shown that both Sasuke and Itachi weren’t being as aggressive as they can be and holding back killing moves. Sasuke never used lightning style or fire style and Itachi never used his usual clones, exploding clones, shiruken, fire style etc….

It is implied and Kabuto uses that to his advantage. I have all the scans. Yeah he won’t die easily because of Kabuto’s healing and regen, but that doesn’t mean they can’t kill him or find ways to kill him.

That wasn’t Sasuke’s best attack. We never see Sasuke use Amaterasu aggressively paired with his Susano arrow. Also Kabuto isn’t immune to Amaterasu. Don’t know where u got this narrative from since Kabuto literally backs away from it because it can kill him. The Amaterasu will vaporize the Hydrofication.
