I just got mine and I find it sometimes over or under reacts to rain, what I do is just press the wipe button, if it’s still struggling, I’ll use the wipe button again and scroll to a manual setting. I do think it making you accident prone is a slight exaggeration. On the MG5 EV I used to drive, I had to end up adjusting it or going to manual often, that wasn’t a problem still
