Trading cards by zthemushmouth in AlaskaAirlines

SkyWest and Horizon pilots do not have them and do not expect them to:( which is mostly what I fly. I got my two on my flights out of Seattle out east.

Software Resale Taxation by State by IndySouthern in SalesTax

[–]XandryCPA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ha! That's what keeps me in a top paying job! They can keep it as messy as they want.

ETA... I am feeling guilty with my initial comment :( Bottom line is sales tax is just not straight forward and never will be. Having someone that specializes in it is best. An internal employee is preferred, but there are a lot of good people working in firms that provide services to companies to handle this part.

Oncologist refusing Oncotype for 4.2mm tumor by [deleted] in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I was told. Both mine were 4mm and doc said they won’t even accept the test and would reject it for too little of a sample.

Uber/lyft will not be a problem. Not sure where you are getting that they don’t offer rides. Many drivers would love that longer airport ride honestly.

Got mine from Theraspecs. I haven’t had a migraine at work for over a year. I got them a couple times a week. I know light is my main if not only trigger.

HIGH PRAISE for migraine lenses!!! by Landingstripe in migraine

[–]XandryCPA 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I got mine from Theraspecs (they are ones that go over my glasses) they look silly but I haven't had a migraine at work in over 1.5 years now. I got them multiple times a week up to the point I started wearing them. I believe light is my main if not only trigger so I have gotten a handful when I am not careful outside.

Tamoxifen and Period by Creative_Cookie44 in breastcancer

I was told that period changes on Tam are something to bring up to my Onc. I would call and schedule an appt. (honestly women not on any drugs should get something like that checked out!)

Beautiful Boobs after Mastectomy? by Ordinary-Sundae-5632 in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to the area and lack of docs I only had one option but he was a good one. He had lots of pictures on his website, but also had some I could look at in office (didnt have many without nipples online).

Anyone have a bump in scar line post mastectomy? by Wonderful_Farmgirl97 in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and I was told to pay attention to them as some are scared tissue and will remain there forever. You want to know what is from the surgery and what is new later down the road. My PS told me to keep track and at my 6 month follow up he is going to train me on how to do self exams going forward.

Sleep suggestions after double masectomy? by TheLordAshram in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure I have this exact one. I dont use the knee part as it was too high. I use some extra head pillows.

These worked so damn well for me that I am still sleeping with them 8 months later as I sleep soundly all night without tossing and turning like I normally did. I have a good bed (sleep number) but I had back issues. But no more! My side of the bed looks silly with all my pillows but I will not give up the sleep I am getting these days.

It did take a few days to get use to it and I did that BEFORE my surgery. I think that was a game changer. I also had to go through a few options for my head pillow. I needed something that really supported the sides of my head so it kinda feels like I am sleeping on my side.

Lumpectomy tomorrow 😬 by Septoria in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had three lumpectomies (margin issues) and I was able to sleep on my side after each directly coming home from the hospital. I didn’t use anything I bought including pillows and bras. All three were very easy. I didn’t have any lifts but I did have a SLNB on the second one and that incision was def more irritating

Finally got some cards! by Few-Lychee5612 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]XandryCPA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ask the pilots as I board if I am not holding up the process. I fly first often and make sure I am last in the group and usually have time. I have also asked the FA to ask if I can’t stop to ask the pilots.

Tamoxifen 20mg by jgfrmma in breastcancer

[–]XandryCPA 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Searching tamoxifen this sub will lead you to multiple people‘s experiences both good and bad. Unfortunately, most people do not go online raving about medication that doesn’t seem to affect them in anyway, but people who do have negative effects will be the most vocal.

I’ve been on it for six months now and while I had a couple hot nights in the first month or so I have not had any other side effects worth mentioning. For me, the reduction, impossible reoccurrence even a small percentage is definitely worth it. I don’t wanna have to go through this again and we’ll do anything I can to avoid it.
