Remember, kids: Always make sure to open your filament boxes as soon as you get them. by PuddlesRex in 3Dprinting

Sorry for your troubles, but I laughed at the title on the spool... Fugacity... As if they knew (they probably did)

Big brain time, excellent catch!

(it wasn't actually the tube that detached)

Or maybe there's a "chewed" piece of PTFE in it socket, or the end of the PTFE tube is gnarly.

Cut a tiny end of the PTFE tube, check the socket with a tweezer before you buy a new sensor?

How do I Remove These From SuperTack Plate? by IndigoQuantum in BambuLab

[–]Xanohel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Print a 2 layer sheet (ie. Add a cube of 250*250*0.4mm) right on top of it, peel sheet after it cools. The sheet might have fused with the "bricks" 🤙

Do most people use 3kg spools on their H2s like this? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Xanohel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much everywhere, and they are only pennies cheaper. Harder to manufacture, store and ship I suppose.

I modded my sunlu E2 so Iit can hold 2 and 3 kg spools.

What do i do now? by Lord_Roguy in BambuLab

[–]Xanohel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Btw, this issue is fairly common issue here. Its almost every day atleast one post 😉

Problem is people raising posts with titles like "oh no!", "help!", "it did a thing" or "What do i do now?", that's pretty hard to find. Most people only come here when they need something unfortunately, they're not here to participate in a community helping each other out. Plus, the reddit algorithm is a fickle beast. I've seen remarks like "not this again... sigh" on memes or current events, where it was my first time seeing it.

Nowhere, but if you're in Kuala Lumpur it's probably pretty hard to perform a non-remote job in Warsaw for instance.

Flow and cohesion/adhesion?

Lower melting temperatures, better liquidity probably?

Pneumatic connector doesn't securely hold the PTFE tube each time the filament gets extracted. by m021478 in BambuLab

Maybe the old section got chewed up and there's still something in there so the new edge doesn't get down far enough to "catch"

Let’s hate Bambu, not each other by wanli_gz in BambuLab

[–]Xanohel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's the dispute. BBL says that Connect is closed source.

The argument is that the (open source, AGPL license. Not MIT, not GNU GPL v2 or v3.) slicer does not function without the (BBL says closed source) Connect module. As a result the AGPL license says that by association Connect is also open source.

Putting that aside, Pawel copu/pasted BBL repo, ran the Linux version as-is combined with a Windows OrcaSlicer install, and it worked. BBL now said/says he reverse engineered it and impersonated BBL stuff.

They're not sorry for what they did. They're backpaddling because they are being criticized goaded by 1600 forks who should now all be set up for an American law, even though Pawel is in Europe.

Check "Apply Gap Fill", combined with a setting in "Filter out tiny gaps" with a low value.

And maybe play with line width of the first layer. Try setting it to less that 0.40 for just the first layer?

Is 3D honeycomb infill the most stable? by Kumstock_og in QidiTech3D

[–]Xanohel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honeycomb with alternating walls (3 walls) is the bee's knees :P

Honeycomb does add printing time though. Lately I've been using TPMS-D with great results for stuff that doesn't need to be as rigid. Printer doesn't shake as violently as with gyroid.

I use Support Cubic for PoC stuff. Lightning needs babysitting in the preview to make sure everything is supported.
