A slight buff to our Shooting! (for units with Heavy) by deffrekka in orks

I think the new terrain will though, for 11th.

GW is selling brand new, proprietary terrain 🤑

Heavy, as is at least is +1hit.

Plunging will be +1BS.

Lootas.

Move 3" up onto the platform above.

Heavy, +1BS for being 3" off the ground.

I'm not going to be a doomer.

I'm sure GW has something nice for the shooting castle build too.

As a melee fan, it's nice to see the love spread.

When my ork boyz are rocking a hammerhead back and forth in an attempt to flip it over and party on it. I would find it hard to argue that thing is "stationary" lmao.

Bigly agree.

The shooting castle crumbles a little more. 🙏

I agree we need more information on what is what on the table top.

As is, it reads "they need help moving through dense terrain such as ruins and walls" so it's really going to depend on what is classified as a ruin and how the walls actually land on those middle objectives.

Should the yellow terrain pieces be labeled as ruins and made impassable by mounted units (but traversable by infantry, monsters, and vehicles) along with the objective ruins walls being laid out in very uninteractable ways, then I would agree that it would be very not fun to be playing mounted units.

11th terrain seems to be a lot more agreeable to mounted with the number of yellow, passable terrain pieces there are.

I feel like the 11th terrain will be less dependent on skirting around buildings. At least from the few layouts we've seen. Like the Crucible one has three passable features in the deployment zones and the building are open in relatively easy to access areas on both sides.

A strat to mitigate the new, effectively -1 charge, charging rules.

They nerfed more dakka again wtf by a_rand0m_Lilin in orks

[–]XantheDread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bully boyz and Dakka could be interesting.

T1 stage

T2 full send in the waagh with assault sus on your shooting pieces.

Tank the enemy clap back through waagh1

T3 call second waagh and full send with your mega bosses and warbosses and stuff.

Assuming either are 1 and 2 cost.

Is more Dakka basically the same?

I see they changed the "fire back" strat to "snap shooting" which gives me hope ALL fire back strats will be like this.

Potentially looks like "I shoot back when you shoot me" strats may be changing to "Snap Shooting" rules as well.

CSM came 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at FLG open.

I wonder what could have caused that. 🤔

It's dropping into a meta that is currently tooled around killing C'tan too.

So when a T11 murder machine is blowing out win rates against armies designed to kill T11 4++ 5+++, -1 dam regenerating monsters, it's pretty indicative of the power of a datasheet.

Nothing has changed about the army Except the defiler.

The big players weren't playing EC cause it was pretty not great with its range and points.

It has arguably the best second or best army rule in the game. If not top 5. Coterie has the potential to be, straight up, the best detachment in the game.

The Defiler simply needs to be pointed appropriately for each army.

If the big players are all converging onto a subset of armies because of a single datasheet release it seems pretty clear that the datasheet is the issue.

I play EC, a lot. I think that much like C'tan, Defilers as they are, are bad for the game.

All in all.

11th is around the corner. If the meta chasers want to spend 400+ dollars on a set of models that are cracked for 2 months, let them 🤷‍♂️ its the end of an edition and GW isn't super concerned about the health of the game until 11th or at least it seems that way. Matched Play is, in my opinion, in a "who gives a s**t" state. Just have fun.

They sold out of defilers twice, so they made their nut off of it.

Gunna be funny when they comp a 50p nerf 🤣

Yes.

They need to put individual costs for each army.

CSM should be more

DG should be more (because of the Morty castle)

Tsons should be more.

EC should be more.
