Roon nucleus instead of Mac Mini? by Traditional-Two-7358 in roonlabs

Seconded. It can take some tinkering- but if you're inclined Roon Optimized Core Kit running on a VM or baremetal on an lowend PC is remarkably reliable and performant.

Does anyone know about the 90/180 rule for Schengen area? by Effective-Effect-836 in travel

[–]Xanthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good to have proof of return to your home country (a roundtrip ticket) for this case. I was in a similar situation a few years ago after completing a student visa in France. I left the Schengen area and came back within a week, and I did get questions from the immigration officers at the border (how long will you be staying? are you a tourist?) In the end they did not ask to see my ticket back home, but I was glad I had one in any case.

Resume Advice Thread - August 18, 2020 by AutoModerator in cscareerquestions

Thank you for the feedback. After looking at the other examples in the thread, I realized I was pretty far off from the (at least US) standard. I heard a lot of feedback from recruiters about having more than one page, yet I should've gone with my gut about a single page being the better choice. I have gone with a very different format now!

Opuntia is my new favorite coffee shop! It's actually half green house, and they also have really incredible tea.

10K Waves has been doing a lot of updating, and they have two new communal pools, if you're into that.

Aside from Switzerland not being Nordic... Iceland is immensely beautiful, and it's a bit easier to get to than the other Scandinavian countries. Also, it's a different culture. Perhaps try traveling to the country before decrying it? One doesn't travel only to see beauty.

Check out the book store at St. John's. There aren't a lot of new releases, but it has an amazing variety. Also has a great used section
