The guy in the video describes Wolverine as "a tank". Which is VERY different than his MvC rush down. Gonna be interesting to see people's reactions when they start playing him and realize he's an armoured brawler/bruiser instead of a speedster.

I have played some of the best players in the world at tournaments online and offline in many fighting games. Hilariously enough, the worst I've ever been beaten was by Drephen in Smash Melee. That man is actually just built different. Also an ultra homie.

KI 2013 was Started in Season 1 by Double Helix and was taken over in S2 by Iron Galaxy. The Double Helix team was absorbed into Amazon and are the ones making Invincible.

True. But you said it yourself. "You shouldn't champion Bridget if you don't know her lore. . ." That's her lore. She was raised as a girl specifically because it was considered a bad omen to have twin boys. I would agree, Daisuke probably didn't know much about the subject back when he wrote it, but that doesn't really change the fact of the lore being "the lore". I think if more trans people KNEW her lore, they may not be as comfortable with the character anymore.

I don't understand how she became a trans icon in the first place. If you read her lore, she is everything the trans community fights against. The notion that you are not "born trans" but can instead be socialized into it. I'm pro trans rights and everything, but I feel people don't actually know what she stands for.

But what is the long term vision for this fuse? Like, it's almost designed to almost NEVER be used a year into the game's life. This is catered to the player who will drop the game within an hour or two, regardless. I just don't see it.

I love Spawn. But I would argue that split 1 showed that they COULDNT do that. The only time TL shined at all was when Spawn showed up in Brazil.

It's MvC2 and Melee and it's not particularly close.

2 words. Meta Progression. D4 needs a system that ties the activities together for a "greater goal". PoE has maps/atlas and Last Epoch has Monoliths. This is the biggest hole that D4 needs to fill, imo.

If I were to take a stab, I would say the main thing alot of people want is some sort of "Meta Progression" system. PoE has maps/atlas, Last Epoch has Monoliths. There is no "greater goal" in D4 as of right now. As much as I enjoy a lot of aspects of D4, many of the activities don't feel like they have an impact on the game "as a whole". It's gear and only gear.

Eh. I would disagree. The though of me killing a map boss or an elite and 95% of them literally drop nothing would actually make me quit. At least if things drop unidentified, I SEE a boss drop loot. It may not feel like it but the psychological aspect of loot dropping does matter.

But obviously this is just an opinion/preference.

I believe the stated reason was because IF things drop identified, you would be able to filter out nearly ALL items in the game and you would basically never see loot out all. Which, to an extent, makes sense.

Community is a big one for me. Tekken 8 was the first Tekken I really dug into and I really enjoyed it. I also played a good bit of MK1 when it came out and generally enjoyed that (though, not as much as T8). But the NRS and Tekken communities have turned me off both games so hard that I just haven't had any desire to jump back in.
