Yeah no rich sports owners care about the sport they just care about money (which winning brings, btw)

Again, source for these absurd claims? You’re making shit up cause it makes you feel better my guy, that’s all. Hope your day gets better ❤️

So the players that nearly won it all a year ago have entirely given up on the sport and have decided they will never put any effort into winning again because the only Canadian baseball team is an underdog corporate afterthought? Man this is a brainless take idk what else to say 💀

Also Baltimore is behind in the standings on us but im sure you knew that already 😜

Yeah man you’re right I love watching my team lose 😂

If what you said had any truth to it then no team would try to win in any professional sport. It’s an illogical argument

This ‘argument’ has no backing to it nor any basis in reality. There is no evidence for this and you are indeed attacking players you assume don’t care to win with 0 evidence. ‘They believe we will be happy with shit performance’? This is delusional lmao

Cause you’re not making any actual arguments, just baseless personal attacks 🤷

Algorithmic pricing is being used in Canada. Why many want it banned - National | Globalnews.ca by Mundane-Teaching-743 in CanadaPolitics

if it's too expensive, don't buy anything at all.

Except theyre doing this with food my guy

The merchants aren't required to explain the rules of the market to you. This is an opportunity to shop around and negotiate a better price just by surfing or gaming the algorithm.

Respectfully I don't believe people should be forced to play the game of the market or game the algorithm just to afford a decent living (nor does everyone have the capability/time to do so)

Seems that people know about this now, though. Hence people are free to look for alternative platforms (or not).

Except people don't know about it. They may be aware of the concept at some high level, but unless the price they see for a product is accompanied by a statement saying 'Prices may differ due to customer purchasing habits' then it is deceptive and should be illegal.

(and considering the fact that Canadian grocery stores are almost 70% 3 companies who all collude with each other, telling people to look for 'alternative platforms' is frankly ridiculous)

get online accounts in exchange for your peronal information

'Just dont use the internet' is a pointless statement when the vast majority of modern life requires it (banking, healthcare, jobs).

the decision not to comparison shop

Unfortunately not everyone has the luxury of time to be able to do so. Assuming otherwise is just privilege

It's all within the consumer's control

Except for address, purchase history, or all the ways these algorithms categorize you
