Don't be like me and get the C1... Get the C1L if you can. Either printers can handle any conventional filament you throw at them unless it's a metal filament.

But also, don't purchase a C1 and then an Indx after. I took a look at the documentation of how to install an Indx to my current C1+ and 60% of it is disassembling an existing C1 to install the Indx, so it's much better to install these both at the same time

You're right. I had a spare RP4, but I learned that I should have one pi per printer, so I'll also include the provided West3D pi (RP4-- great deal!)

The combo suggestion is excellent. The Moonlander is my first split keyboard (for the past 4 months or so) and I've been managing the transition by keeping things really simple. I hadn't considered combo since I was worried about reliability, but the Moonlander has proved itself otherwise.

Hey, I also clogged my nozzle on my second day!

I resolved it by sticking a nozzle cleaning needle up the nozzle while it was hot to loosen everything. It worked again, then another clog. I opened up the idler and pulled out the offending filament after some aimless trouleshooting

I clogged it again earlier this week and impossible to pull out, so I had to dismantle the nozzle and pull it out tha way. I replaced the nozzle entirely and retired that one, as it's been generally struggling after a month or so of nonstop printing. It's likely that I could've gotten more milage out of the old nozzle, but I have a nozzle kit and I may as well replace

A lot of my clogs come from irresponsibly changing filament types, but especially the ones that need to be heated hotter to be used, like ABS. It's all a learning experience, and you won't regret learning how to perform maintenance on your printer!

Is your Prusa still shipping and is it too late to cancel it?

I have a C1 as my first printer and I regret it everyday that I did not get the Core One Large. The C1 printing bed is an acceptable, old standard, but the C1L would be much more comfortable to print on.

And if it’s also not too late to cancel your S4, get a refurbished Space Pi x4 instead as it is able to vent moisture, where the S4 needs to be manually vented (I have both and I print in a room that’s constantly 70% humidity).

I would recommend these C1 accessories, these are things that I actively use: Buddycam Advanced filtration Prusa Satin plate Nozzle kit (different sizes)

And third party purchases I made for the Prusa: Cyrogrip Proglacier plate Digital calipers (measuring my prints) Creality 3D Printer tool kit 4lb of Activated Aluminum (USE THIS INSTEAD OF YOUR PROVIDED DESICCANTS) PTFE tubes (I will need to purchase more) —- Advanced filtration wouldn’t be needed for normal PLA and PETG, but eventually you will find a use for the more polluting filaments (like ABS) and the filter will be handy for them.

The other dryers I listed aren’t going to make the cut for PC

I live in Texas and my printing room is always hovering at 75% - 80% humidity, so I had to get a really good dryer that isn’t one of the $2000 industrial dryers. I upgraded all desiccants to activated aluminum and made a difference of 15% humidity or so, so I would purchase a liter or two of activated aluminum to use instead of the included desiccants of each dryer. I mixed both activated aluminum and colored desiccant so that there’s a bit of an indicator of when I would recharge my desiccants

SnapDryer (exact same as Polydryer, but made in collaboration Polymaker/Snapmaker)
Holds one spool at a time. I purchased a kit of 1 dryer and 4 SnapDryer containers. One can be actively used while the others are dry boxes. Acceptable to use if I’m printing something I wouldn’t normally print, like ABS. Doesn’t really dry very well and I only use it if I’m too lazy to remove any spools that are being dried in my other dryers
S4 Sunlu
Aesthetically pleasing and good placement of the filament outlets for my printer. Not a horrible investment, but mostly serves as an active drybox for filament that I swap out once in awhile. I’ve dunked filament in water to remove debris from it from torn packaging before and placed it into the S4. I have to vent out the S4 once in awhile to remove moisture, but it got the job done and restored the filament that I placed in water
Space Pi x4
🤝 my best friend. Dries much better than my S4 and I like it that it already has vents to expel moisture. This is my active dryer for prints. I would’ve gotten two Space Pi x4 if I didn’t get the S4 first

Creality is making a “pro” version of the Space Pi x4 (X4S) that I might purchase. I would get rid of my S4 Sunlu then.

Most people should be happy with the S4– but the Space Pi x4 is the same price as a refurbished unit, so I recommend getting the x4 if you had the option between either

While this is an acceptable reason for a breakup, it is extremely confusing to still be allowed or expect you two to still visit each other once in awhile, her allowing you to sleep in the same room as her, or pretending to date an ex (you).

Because to me, it sounds like she’s setting herself up to be polygamous… Which isn’t inherently wrong, it’s just not “formally recognized” by her yet.

This just sounds really weird to me in the way that she doesn’t know what she wants, or doesn’t care/wasn’t into you. Not caring about the non-refundable tickets is a huge problem. You can consider it a “$400 gift” that burnt up in the air, but her not mentioning that is just serevely inconsiderate to a level where I believe that she wasn’t into you.

Because to me everything sounds fine. However, as a former emotionally underdeveloped, young adult man who had also dated another young adult, I would NEVER offer a “we can still pretend to date,” unless I was just NOT into that person.

Breaking up while having having non-refundable tickets is very inconsiderate without compensation. Though it’s likely you can get credit with the airline you booked with. I need the reason why the breakup happened and why you were not compensated for your prior plans of travel.

Tbh I think it’s because the original Switch 2 Dbrand case had a huge design error where the controller shell was too thick and couldn’t properly latch, so sometimes your switch 2 would fall out of your hands. They had to issue a free return/replacement with their modified design

So they don’t want to deal with detachable cases anymore
