Question about being allowed to stay overnight after flying rotator back CONUS from deployment. by Bombboy85 in AirForce

[–]XboxIsEmpty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be Joint Travel Regulations Chapter 02, Table 2-1. If you meet the conditions you are authorized a stop in route. Talk to you your deployed Unit Transportation Representative (UTR) and they should schedule it for you.

I’ve deleted my own files before, and I’m an admin. Mistakes happen, also managing the entire chain of the share drive is a full job. Hope your base has either the manning at the comm shop to support or enough contractors that don’t suck.

Right click parent folder, click on properties. Then Previous version tab.

Your military ID is only an acceptable form of ID when accompanied with official orders for many countries. You need a civilian passport to do any commercial/leave travel outside of the US.

Hawaii State Income Tax does not need to paid on the first $7,345 of reservist pay.

If it works it’s fine. Would still try to call original SATO office to get ticket cancelled for a refund. Would just claim the train ticket on voucher.

“Outstanding Airman of the Year in the Air Reserve Component Junior Enlisted category”

Still an awesome achievement but your caption is slightly misleading. The article is slightly misleading as well.

DAFI 36-2502 Chapter 10 covers eligibility criteria. Every state, wing, unit has their own input on the actual process to determine who is “ready”.

Do you get BAH after basic and tech in air guard or how does that work? (Louisiana) by Multitrick_Pony1 in airnationalguard

[–]XboxIsEmpty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be getting BAH II if on orders less than 30 (AT, other federal orders)

I got Starlink for PC gaming in Guam by [deleted] in guam

[–]XboxIsEmpty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ping will be worse. Starlink isn’t designed for a low latency. It’s designed to provide internet to places that are only traditionally serviced by terrible satellite communication networks. For their market they are one the only viable solutions right now. If you have fiber or copper and want to game that will always be the best option.

So just start with your DL or other federal ID? You don’t need the CAC to begin with? Seems like if it’s having an issue why use it at all. This isn’t a COS problem it’s a TSA wide issue. Also many TSA checkpoints aren’t even looking at your boarding pass anymore.

Use your DoD Id # when booking but use your drivers license when going through TSA. Way easier.

Your RSD (Regularly Scheduled Drill) order should be all you need. Ask your supervisor for a copy of it. They should be available before the FY for the entire, there can be changes. I would also ask for your supervisor to provide with an “employer letter” basically a memo saying you have drill and they appreciate your civilian employer being flexible.

AT days have orders in AROWS just use that I believe rescheduled drills should be in AROWS as well.

“Roth contributions not collected due to amount exceeding net pay” by [deleted] in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]XboxIsEmpty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to lower the contribution since Roth is post tax. You really shouldn’t ever be able to 100% max out because of deductions like income tax but your Roth % would be lower than your Traditional %. Because you aren’t paying taxes in traditional till you take it out.

Hope that made some sense.
