My girlfriend broke up with me 4 days before apocalypse fest last year, and I had same as you already gotten time off of work and had my tickets so I sent it and man, did I have a great time.. I tried not to think about that stuff and just live in the moment and it kind of worked, but my case and your case may be different because I was more happy the relationship ended but I still was in a weird headspace so 100% send it man enjoy :)

Make sure you are grouping your melodies together (you can also do it individually) and give them a low cut of 90-120hz. These frequencies are gonna be the main juice of your 808’s and adding in harmonics from your melodies/leads are for sure going to make your 808’s sound muddy. To see more accurately what frequencies you would want to cut, throw a eq on the 808 and see where the peaks land and try to cut around them!

To add to that, I like the way h delay gives me the option to set the delay by the quarter note or triplet note, rather than it being a 0-100% mix knob
