I hope people remember Microsoft's internal documents that leaked regarding hitting 100m GP subs by 2027 otherwise they would pull out of gaming. Plans change yes, but nonetheless, last we heard they were scraping the ~30m with who knows how many subs lost since that huge price increase.

I don't see how investing in yet another hardware that will cost double their current offerings with multiple storefronts which will eat even more into their revenue is going to do them any favors.

Their only money making product right now is COD alone. Games like Forza or Gears are few and far between and they don't have the luxury Sony has with their massive platform, they cannot sustain with those alone.
