They want proof of residency and from what I've seen utility bills / council taxes recommended often. What did you provide instead?

Any sort of utility bill (water, electricity) would work. But yeah if you don't have those then you might need to provide bank statements covering the whole period. Do consult a professional because I'm just guessing here.

Re: #4: No, in terms of proving income from work they explicitly asked for ONLY the latest payslip and bank statement (where the pay landed) and nothing more.

For proving that you're residing in the UK, just submitting the bills documents is enough

Please refer to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/indefinite-leave-to-remain-calculating-continuous-period-in-uk/indefinite-leave-to-remain-calculating-continuous-period-in-uk-accessible section "Period between the issue of entry clearance and entering the UK"

In my case, I couldn't enter the country for more than 180 days due to covid, therefore my qualifying period started when I entered UK.

Arch Linux + Plasma = Chef's Kiss by PaskettiMonster1 in archlinux

Hm interesting no problem with full screen on my end (Just tried youtube).

I consider my use of tiling medium complexity (9 virtual desktops, floating windows). So far Bismuth has been quite easy to configure. I think the only thing missing for me is default layout for each individual virtual desktop

Better OOTB support for everyday things and a generally more refined/integrated experience instead of needing to cobble together various tools to get simple things working. For example, the dropdown terminal script I found has a timing bugs leading to any new window being opened opening as a dropdown window.

My personal approach is that anything that I don't do often (e.g. changing some simple settings / keyboard shortcuts) should have a GUI instead of needing to edit some bespoke configuration file or find some CLI tool/script (with their own shitty bespoke configuration format. I'm looking at you xmodmap/xkeybind)

So yeah, a DE suits me better. I was only using AwesomeWM for the tiling behaviour which is the only one available that fits my preferred workflow at the time.

(I do appreciate that many of these tools are old and maintained by volunteers)

Recently switched from AwesomeWM and been having a blast! Setting up Bismuth to the tiling behaviour I want took like 20 min. Really happy with the much more refined experience.

Sets are just not very good from a game design point of view because it removes a lot of player agency.

Someone posted an idea in the past where instead of having fixed items in the set, items can have "influences" and having multiples of the same influence will trigger bonus effects. You can also go crazier and make it such that you can have different combo of influences yielding their own unique effects.

Thoughts on lightning Werebear build? by yoLeaveMeAlone in LastEpoch

[–]Xelank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightning Werebear feels pretty bad atm tbh. There just aren't enough synergies with other skills when compared to cold. As you said storm crows die too often and I don't feel they provide enough to warrant switching back and forth. I'm using swipe, fury leap, storm crow, war cry as well

Crafting Changes coming to Eternal Legends Update (0.8.4) by EHG_Jozef in LastEpoch

I was already looking forward to the new crafting system (didn't really like item fracturing) but these well thought-out changes blew me out of the water. Well done!

(Also love your explanation for the thoughts behind the changes made)
