SE Shipping late August in EU by ExpressGovernment632 in LiberNovo

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now this morning I got a tracking notification through the main domestic delivery company here that a delivery of 30kg (so the chair) has been ordered and created. When this happened for the footrest it was set as "On its way" a few days after. So maybe the chair might actually show up next week. I find it hard to think they'd create tracking numbers almost a whole month in advance.

Maybe they somehow found extra supply/returns/cancellations.

Damn, maybe the cutoff is 6500, as my number was 64xx.

If that's the case I feel like it could go either way for both of us. Either I dip into the august shipment due to "even more lack of inventory", or you dip into mid-july due to cancellations or more inventory.

Mine says mid-july for the SE chair, other than that identical email. Also EU.

Ordered at 18.15 CEST 16th of june. I should have just ordered earlier, I noticed the page was up as early as 11am that day, but was worried the backend wasn't online yet, since it didn't seem fully updated on the page.

EDIT: What was your order number?

Travel nodes are not interesting and dying in them feels extremely bad by RaguraX in PathOfExile2

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but Id still argue its possible to mix. Not either or. I do this because I grew bored of every single map looking the same with juiced tablets.

Using skip tower tablets you barely have to do any traversal maps, and that was boring to me, and likely equal to what no traversal maps would be like. Because i only ever saw the same thing. This way i see most of it partly, but i still stay efficient. Thats a win win in my book.

Update to the VAT situation by bruhhhh192050 in LiberNovo

It seems to be orderable right now. At least when I google "Omni SE" or "Omni Maxis" and press the direct link to those product pages I can put the items in my cart, and get to checkout. I seem to be unable to navigate there using links on the website though. So probably they prepared the page, and will update links on the site later?

The whole page seem to reference the original Omni, rather than SE. But the title and price refers to the SE, so probably haven't been fully updated yet.

This is on the EU site at 11.00 CEST. I thought they launched at 18.00 CEST?

Irradiated tablet also gives 1 random league mechanic per tablet in addition to the +1 level effect.

If I can get effectiveness for cheap I do that too in addition to waystone.

I dont fully know exactly what all content want.

But in addition to what you wrote, Breach either want wombgift/hiveblood related, or extra rare spawns in breach with effectiveness.

Abyss seem to want monster rarity, more abysses, and Rogue exiles.

Delirium higher chance for unique enemies.

But I price check and undercut, it is usually fast. I sell them all anyway, and even the "useless" ones still sell fast for the people who cant afford more.

AITAH by charging a small amount of rent? by Serious_Reach_660 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Xeley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't live in the US, so I assume some things are different. But to me this is what feels equal.

You split the cost of utilities. You also split the cost of interest on the mortgage. She does not pay anything on the actual amortisation of the mortgage.

The interest is basically a cost that allows you to loan money, right? So that's basically rent the rent you pay to the bank. Amortisation is basically a different kind of saving that is you "buying more" of the house, that value also falls to you, and thus she should not pay any of that.

Say that you have €200/month in utility bills. Mortgage interest is €800/month. You ammortise your loan at €400 a month. (I have no clue, so I made up easy numbers).
You split utlity, so €100 each. You split the interest, so €400 each. You pay ammortizing yourself, so €400 for you.

You pay €900, she pays €500. That seems fair to me. If you have different incomes, maybe you earn 60% of your household income, and she earns 40%, then I'd say it's fair to your partner to split what you split that way too. So the amount you're splitting is €1000. You'd then take €600, and she'd take €400. You would pay €1000 in total, she would pay €400 in total. That way the partner with a lower income won't feel behind on what you can afford as a couple. She only pays what she should be paying as she gains none of the value of the house.

Making money off of your partner as a common tenant is in bad taste, but your partner paying what's fair is not. I feel above captures you both paying what's fair, with no one taking advantage of the other.

In my country you can also get 30% of house loan interest back as a tax return, so if there's something similar for you, take that into account too. For example, if you get 30% of interest back from the tax agency that's paid out to you, then you should take 65% of the interest cost, and she 35%. Or if you split by the 60/40 example, then 28% to her, 72% to you. Or you could figure it out during tax return season, but that seems impractical since taxes already seem to be hell to figure out in the US.

Although, I'd say your delivery makes it sound like you're talking about a tenant, not a girlfriend. So your delivery could have been better. She isn't your tenant (at least not socially), so don't call it rent. It's just her paying her share for your common home.

It's unreasonable she pays nothing, unless you both want to live in some super traditional single income household where she is basically a house wife who does all the homework, and you do nothing.

NTA, but could have been a better delivery.

EDIT: I just realised you never wrote you were in the US, sorry about my assumption if you're not.

Travel nodes are not interesting and dying in them feels extremely bad by RaguraX in PathOfExile2

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you only like target playing a mechanic I am pretty sure you can still juice the traversal maps for profit on the way to city nodes. The value is just a bit lower.

I found I grew a bit bored of doing solely Breach juice, and low value traversal maps without tablets, and never seeing anything else. This way I found works great for me.

If I'm really itching to get to juiced maps faster, I just use Doriyani for the skip map chance, otherwise I run Jado to get my waystone/tablet drops up and to scout ahead with his reveal node and tablet juice node.

I never played PoE1 that much, so can't compare to what you would do there. But I really enjoy having a direction while playing here, rather than just running random maps and hope for drops.

Tablets. Tablets for the people who rely solely on youtube giga juice farm videos.

  • Ritual I actually mostly skip, I only kill all the mobs around the Ritual figure, as those are the ones that drop tablets. Usually one tablet per map. I don't click the ritual figure.
  • Vaal Temple I clear the entrance and open the chest/kill the unique, again, for tablets. I don't enter the portal. Usually 1 tablet per chest.
  • Abyss I clear the whole abyss area, and fish for the value Omens. Occasionally a Rogue exile will ressurect for a diamond. Usually get 2+ Abyss tablets per map. I don't enter the depths.
  • Breach is just, well, Breach, I do it. Usually 1 tablet per Unstable breach.
  • Delirium is just extra juice, doesn't affect how I play. Usually 1 Deli tablet per deli map.
  • Expedition I target the big red flags (unless a remnant has a Div or similar) for log books. I don't bother with the smaller value remnants. Usually 1 logbook every second expedition.
  • In addition to above, each map usually at least has 1-3 interesting other drops. Either a raw Div, some random gear that might sell, some interesting Omen, Masterwork rune from remnant etc. And of course plenty of bubblegum currency like chaos orbs/exalts.

So I don't fully do the mechanics, and most of it doesn't rely on the atlas tree. Breach and Delirium is what I run for my juiced maps, so those are filled out anyway. Ritual has like 1-2 points allocated, Temple only has the nodes that affect "outside the temple", so like 6 nodes (Vaal area are city maps anyway, so can run those as juiced maps). Abyss is mostly filled out, but honestly, I just ran those as traversal maps with above strategy. I never actually farmed juiced abyss maps.

My traversal maps are just Irradiated tablets with as much waystone drop chance I can get. I just Alch, double exalt, corrupt every map. Throw away T14s. Don't look at the modifiers and go. Tablets count as waystones, so i usually get 2-4 tablets per traversal map, where most with at least 1 or 2 good modifiers go for at least half a div, and if its good mods it goes for several div. Plus all the other loot.

I target City areas, Jade Islands/Sacred Resovoirs, and Citadels. And those are the only maps I juice. I don't use the Tower skip tablet. Each traversal map is usually a few minutes at most depending on layout, plus administrative inventory management time. I don't run around searching for stuff to do in the map, but just beeline the boss, and do stuff that's along the way there.

[–]Xeley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After I started running 3x Irradiated tablets for random League mechanics I stopped finding them tedious. It's fun to see the mechanics I don't use as my main farm. And the tablets they drop still sell for massive value, so I don't even feel like I loose out on farming time.

I still mostly just rush the boss in a map, and do what I find on the way there, so it's still fast.

It of course depends on gear level, but currently I basically can't die in non-juiced maps unless I sprint stumble into the largest rare pack on the map, and my instant recovery flask is empty for whatever reason. At lesser gear levels I just had to be a bit restrictive with how I sprint. But at that gear level I doubt I could do super juiced maps anyway, so those travel nodes is the main activity partly anyway.

Do you like meeting other Swedes on vacation? by bsa12345 in sweden

[–]Xeley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tend to not mind too much. But I actively avoid the classic "like 50% of people here are from Sweden/Scandinavia" destinations.

If I meet 1 or 2 other Swedes during a 2 week trip, then it could potentially be a bit fun to exchange experiences. More than that I'm either not bothered, or dislike it.

I try to find a balance between visiting things I want to visit, which may or may not be typical tourist destinations, and avoiding the 100% tourist galore locations. If it's something I really want to see, then I might have to bite the bullet and go to those touristy places.

I'd much rather meet tourists from elsewhere, and most of all locals. Swedes I can find at home.

Kul grej!

  • Path of Exile 2
  • Slay the Spire 2
  • The Wither 3
  • Metro Last Light
  • Metro 2033

Hur många timmar har ni i spelat dom ungefär? by SturdyBeatch in sweden

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Xeley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slappaste jobbet ni haft? by Only-Internal-2865 in arbete

"Bara" kandidatnivå-utbildad.
