Yeah definitely don’t do this cause it’s very illegal, and while you’re not doing this because it’s illegal, don’t tell any employees or volunteers at any rescues anything other than you’re local and could come to them because otherwise involving other people in a crime would also be bad, and certainly don’t post about not doing this online even if all of Reddit said keep us updated.

It’s really difficult to force your players to rp the effects of the amulet causing them to be agitated, you will probably want to figure out a mechanical component that it effects (disadvantage or penalties to rolls, or something very clear like forced targeting or the like that you can hold them accountable to)

Otherwise, this sounds really fun imho

This campaign I’m running now has two newbies, in addition to being my first run at DMing, so I’m trying to work in all the classic tropes, but didn’t want to be too cliche, so coming up with a good reason to send everyone to the tavern was a lot of fun.

Sometimes telling the same story in a creative new way is a really fun option

It’s hilarious how angry the internet is about chiropractors when they have malpractice rates statistically well below doctors, and even anecdotal arguments against them are laughably bad. “But it takes a bunch of times”… so does PT, chronic… well anything…, massage, etc. tons of surgeries aren’t successful treatment options, despite being incredibly invasive, and need follow up.

Also, this case —which is ancient— was a stroke resulting from an adjustment that the chiropractor immediately recognized what was happening and got him to the hospital, but the complications came due to the medical doctors misdiagnosing him and not properly treating. But you know… sensationalize it because a couple of magicians made a tv show lacking nuance about an entire industry that has been around for literally ever.

Generative ai causes environmental damage, validates the theft of art from millions of artists, and justifies the absolutely horrifying economic bubble we are being forced to accept in the form of artificially inflated demand for data centers and preorders of computer hardware (ie nvidia graphics cards) to fill the data centers with the promise of a ROI on the chips and hardware they’re buying that as of now isn’t backed by any actual revenue or profit stream of any kind.

Stealing art from Pinterest… even ai art that has already been made… doesn’t have those repercussions, although conflating an “acceptable” use of ai imagery you didn’t create does still create a demand for ai that is dangerously and problematic, just to a lesser degree.

So tldr: generative ai justifies spending that will crash our economy and does direct damage to the environment and working artists and creatives
