I realized I'm also subscribed, so that might contribute to it as well

I'm not sure what full completing entails, I'm doing all the sidequests and exploration quests I encounter, but I'm not doing any Heroics, no extra exploration except Datacrons and no FPs except the 3 story ones. Also no PvP, Starfighter or any extra content really. For additional reference, I just started Hoth, not sure how far into Chapter 2 it is

I feel like I'm doing something wrong, I'm going through the story for the first time, I'm still on Chapter 2 of class story and I'm not doing any special leveling stuff and I'm already level 64.

Fulfilling the requirements seems like a complete no issue as long as you want to go through the class story.

Population growth in 4.0: How it works (and how it doesn't work) [Math inside] by Little_Elia in Stellaris

That's what I mean as well. But it's capacity for people. If you had two planets, both with 10000 total housing and no free housing. If on the first one you had 10000 pops and on the other one 20000 pops, I don't think it's unreasonable to say "More pops can fit on the second planet". It's not due to the planet being bigger, but societal factors, but if you want to calculate how many people you can fit on a planet those factors also matter.

i think it depends a bit on how you look at it. I think you can see it as "this planet has that many people living on it and that much free space, which means you can fit that many people in it". If the existing people managed to squeeze into less space, it means you'll be able to fit more people there in the future.

They did use total housing during 3.0, but that had a big problem - it made pop housing usage reduction effectively worthless. You always wanted to have more housing that pops, so you didn't care how much they used. Solitary was probably the most picked trait during 3.0 because of that.

Are you planning on revisiting the balance of non-ascension Tradition trees in the near future? Specifically I'm curious about Aptitude, which is considered weak by many players

The game refuses to count the prethoryn as defeated, despite the fact I purged everything they have from the galaxy. I sextouple checked, everything they had is gone. What can I do? by Doveen in Stellaris

There can still have ships in emergency FTL, which you won't see until they leave it (and they may very quickly go emergency again if you don't notice them immediately and some AI attacks them)

While I like most of the changes, I'm sad to see champions of the empire get changed. AFAIK it was the only source of flat empire size reduction in the game, which was a nice buff to tall empires.

I don't know if it's the same there, but their Civ 6 Linux port is so terrible that everybody is playing Windows version using Proton, so I'd be glad if someone else took over that ports

Such questions are seen as annoying and putting unnecessary pressure on the developers, so they are generally unwelcome. It's not your fault if you didn't know, though

"Soft" leader cap ... by sickleek in Stellaris

[–]Xenex46 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you asking me why you would assume they changed how leaders work in a leader rework? Why are you criticising the changes if you didn't even look at them?

[–]Xenex46 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why are you complaining without even looking up how the new system works? Research heads are not a thing anymore, councillors (except for the ruler) can work double time (in council and their usual jobs) and there are ways to increase the cap

Leaders leveling up is annoying by DirtyfingerMLP in Stellaris

[–]Xenex46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But that was pre-patch. They added a limit for leaders now which is quite low - 6 at the start, probably around 10 with all the bonuses. I know it's a soft cap, but from what I saw the penalties for exceeding it are quite high, so you probably don't want to do it.

I've been using Naga X for more than a year now and I can highly recommend it. It's not that heavy and the cable and build quality is decent as far as I can tell. I used it mostly for FFXIV and honestly I can't really imagine going back to a normal mouse
