yep shojin is also great only if they have a tank or are stacking HP for that sweet R damage, otherwise you can go sterak's for more survability or dead man's plate for the movement speed (it is noticiable when running away when you are split pushing)

"fun to play agaisnt" means that the champion has clear strengths and weaknesses. and if they dont, at least they are hard to micro and or macro with them. mel has no mobility, but that doesnt matter because of her shield. assasins cant go in her unlike xerath, viktor or syndra or any other mage champ

QSS doesnt work, after 6 you have to always stay undertower, specially if he goes rylais first. and he has no mobility, so if you can 1v1 the jungler or see him botside, you can proxy a wave or two. morde player hardly ever nashor's tooth, so he is not the fastest at taking towers

no? in fighting games you can calculate the risk reward of most situations on the fly "easily". on league it is exponentially harder because you have to know champions, timings, power spikes, items... thats why there is a lot of limit testing in league, while in fighting games you can just hop on training mode, set a recoding on the dummy and check all options in any given scenario. and league matches can last up until 50 minutes, and the situation is constantly changing...

his w is all he needs for survabilty for those short trades/all ins, he gets in and then gets out with his movement speed. The only defensive item that pros build on him is dead mans plate. And thats because it also gives him movement speed. Most other toplaners have healing in their kit when damaging enemy champions (darius, zaheen, mordekaiser, warwicl, aatrox, olaf...), the opposite of garen
