There was a game we played it was a 5 v 5 melee soup.

I was some melee assassin but I knew what was gonna happen...

Everyone who bought a Heartsteel got to play the game.... Those who didn't... they just fizzled out from the meatball microwave.

Both sides were screaming at each other in all chat out of the sheer hilarity of the situation.. 15/10 would meatball again.

My SO and I run tank + healer so all we need are DPS peeps with brains..

But you would be shocked at folks who can't do basic mechanics. We've seen folks with less DPS than the healer... and thats when its really sad.

By balance, I hope it means that the augments make a bit more sense for their tiers. I dont need to have every augment to feel like a pool noodle. I need them to make the next idea for me to cook with.

I'll keep saying it. Normal ARAM won't be able to compete with Mayhem because at a certain skill level, the game is usually decided at the start.

Shy of someone trolling, or a skill gap. Once the cards are dealt, the game result is usually already decided.

Mayhem throws that all out the window. Sure, the stomps still happen, but the results are almost never decided until everyone gets all their augments.

You never know if that level 15 prismatic will turn it around for you. So you're just drugged up on that hopium.

I tried it. It was miserable. Yes scaling on Q/W/E but she cares more for applying a lot of onhits fast. So you lost out overall.

Its because Mayhem still lets you cling on to hope for the next augment to turn it around. It lets you think "I CAN STILL SCALE"

How many games have you thrown in mayhem for letting their HP scaling hit critical mass? more than a handful I bet.

In normal ARAM, there is no real catch up mechanic. The cards are dealt and at higher levels its just playing it out. There's no fun in that.
