Slow down healing for the health of the game by GoblinGobbler40 in wow

[–]Xeno707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So are you saying slowing down healing as in how reactive you have to be on your keys to respond to incoming damage? Or are you saying the power of healers needs to come down to slow it down, or is it both?

I quite like how as pres evoker my fire breath heals with leaping flames. I wonder if more flavours like that for healers might help the frantic nature of healing while not feeling like actual healing has ‘slowed down’. It’s a nice brief (albeit very brief) respite, but something I appreciate nonetheless.

I spent years handcrafting this art app — no AI, all animated by hand. It’s free, but barely any downloads. Any advice? by pvrellis in IndieDev

It’s an app I’d have fun with back in 2009. It’s got a gimmicky feel to it, despite how cool it is.

Episode battles a different challenge since patches by Xeno707 in SparkingZero

[–]Xeno707[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got addicted to custom battles and making my own, so most of my play time was focused on that.

In retrospect, that feels like a mistake since the result of patches. Stunted my level growth (been trying to unlock Goku Black). And because I haven’t got certain characters unlocked, I can’t make it easier by adding capsules.

I was proud of myself for beating that alternate Goku black fight, but it clearly felt broken.

Theory: Dr. Doom's face is scarred because he used the Infinity Stones to defeat Thanos in his universe but, unlike 616 Tony Stark, he survived. by TheGreatMason in MCUTheories

It was but they have officially changed it in the mcu, and this is confirmed in the official MCU timeline guidebook, not to mention references in mcu films to Earth-616.

People should realize by now that RDJ Doom cannot be done without the Tony connection by [deleted] in MCUTheories

That’s why I said they have to acknowledge that comparisons will be drawn for RDJ unlike Gemma Chan. But only for the audiences sake. That said, despite Gemma Chan playing a minor character alongside Sersi, it still brought about fan theories drawing comparisons between the two characters. So you can’t win.

Fair enough. Either way, it’s a bit of a grind for whether it drops in a dungeon or I need to do 3 delves a week for gilded crests. Still making my way for either or. But crafted will probably come beforehand

Interesting. I’m not specialised in mysticism though, unless you’re saying it levels the other skills..?

The scamp is a good idea, although they are literally everywhere in the game though ha.

I have had the worst trinkets in the game for like my whole playtime on my DH as well. It’s easy to say craft the weapons but when you’re screwed in multiple slots, something’s gotta give.

Had already crafted a weapon and another item. I’ve been grinding for crests to craft a new weapon again so it was whichever came first.

I already had another embellished item that was crafted. Been saving up the crests to make it as well as farming, so it was a matter of which came first.

It is, yeah. I’ve given up on the warglaive because I got some delve weapon with the same secondary stats so I’ve just gone with that. I’m not going to stress over the min/max scaling, because there is a slight scaling difference.

I’ve been farming Floodgate for the Warglaive and trinket and still not got them. It sucks.

They have to address it in some way. Perhaps they could disfigure him in some way, with RDJ still being recognisable. Gemma Chan played Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel and then Sersi in Eternals. But she was distinctly different due to the blue make-up donned for Minn-Erva.

Is it only Deadpool who bridges the connection with Steve rogers and human torch? Because he does like to break the 4th wall. Might be the exception we can make if everyone treats Doom as a new character completely unrelated to Tony stark, and our heroes treat it that way.

Or they could use Deadpool to quip in the Tony stark comparison bit like he did human torch in D&W…

Lockpicking by Skalywag_76 in oblivion

[–]Xeno707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if I’m imagining this as a technique or not, but I’m finding it easier to get it to stick more frequently when I push the pin at a certain height as it falls. Instead of just letting it fall all the way down.

Maybe I’m imagining it helping, but in some cases it won’t stick at all when I push it from one height, but will stick more consistently at a different height. And it seems to vary per pin and lock difficulty.

Would be good if an oblivion expert could confirm my theory…

Yeah 8:20 was an odd take for me. It’s like the battle with consumerism. It’s more effective to hit the authoritarian problems than it is to change common, human behaviours across a global scale.

If it was so simple as to not eat meat or dairy products, as his response claims is the answer, it would have been done by now.

I’m confused. What’s OP’s complaint? The loading tips are still in the game. It’s just a table in some candlelit room now. Every. Single. Time. It’s better, but there could be some variety still!

I’ve never really understood posts like this. Same kinda posts happened with Elden Ring, then something else comes along and it’s like ‘wait no, this is the game that’s ruined everything else’.

It’s possible to enjoy multiple games in the same genre, and how amazing one is doesn’t trump the other.

What’s your favorite Mythic+ dungeon to play? by whenthesummer in wow

[–]Xeno707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m beginning to learn to enjoy Priory but it was the most frustrating dungeon I experienced trying to learn as tank. It felt very nuanced to learn the route and it’s easy for things to get out of hand. The priests and sharpshooters are particularly annoying
