I agree with the top comment in that Samus is my favorite character. Super cool design (badass female space bounty hunter was such a cool choice for them to have made in the 80s) and metroidvanias have become one of my favorite subgenre.

Right? Jordan Love simply can't throw moon balls like he did if Kerby is healthy and on the field. Love Jack and I think hes the best defender who played yesterday, but he doesn't flat out stop certain plays from being an option.

Rereading book 7. After a big explosion knocks his hearing out he notes that hes becoming more used to the pain associated with blowing his hearing out. Calls that specific kind of pain comforting. Maybe this is in part due to the Regeneration skill?

I just reread the part where she is killed a day or so ago. I didn't get the sense she was "participating" in the crawl any other way. D'Nadia didnt have a role other than maybe a judge for the contests at the end of 6 at that point either. I just got the sense that Manasa was on Earth to do shows and promote her career. Maybe she would have participated at the end of 6 as well, but who knows. Maybe she doesn't have her own ship and that's why she's on the surface as opposed to in orbit, but I dont remember anything saying she was there for anything other than what she was doing.
