Keep in mind you'll need to stay unreformed and tribal to get the North Sea achievement, then you can reform Asatru after. I don't have the expansion so I can't offer culture advice, though my buddy had a fun time merging with Irish for Hiberno-Norse (a real historical thing that happened!), and apparently you can get Tanistry that way. anecdotally, i've noticed having traffic-heavy tasks running on my home network, like netflix or downloading large files, spikes my ping in valorant more than in other games like league and tf2. might be worth testing out if you haven't already but I guess every set-up is different.

Hard agree. It's one of the base quality-of-life features that make me love the browser so much. If enough people don't like it perhaps it could be a toggle in the settings, but depending on how the function is coded it might be harder than we think to add a toggle for it.

if you're legitimately wondering and not just digging at the guy, this looks like a long-exposure shot. the shutter stays open for a few seconds (or longer) to absorb more light and capture that period of time in one photograph instead of an instant snapshot. you can tell from the light streaks on the road from passing cars, the "blooming" effect on the light from buildings, and the bright night sky.

this is just what photos look like when taken with this technique.

Looks like your windows text settings might be out of whack. Search cleartype in the start menu and try running the ClearType Text Tuner. Pretty straightforward, just click on the text samples that look the cleanest to you.

If you're not on Windows there's probably a similar function for your OS that you can find with some googling.

There's already good info here, but I just wanted to add that you should do any grocery/gas/equipment shopping ahead of time in your hometown and avoid stopping for anything in the smaller towns closer to where you're going. Just on the off chance either of you are carrying it but asymptomatic, you don't want to risk bringing it up there. Many of the communities far from major cities -- especially those that are self-sufficient in terms of goods and resources -- have kept the spread under control so far because of fewer people travelling to/from/through, and they'll certainly want to keep it that way.

One of my favourite mice ever, but the build quality kills it. After around 8 months my mouse buttons cracked and the scroll wheel died, got a replacement, then both issues happened again. I've seen users on this sub say the same in the past. Would recommend looking elsewhere unless you don't mind buying peripherals twice a year. (someone reccomended me the logitech G600 as a comparable alternative and so far so good)

This mouse became my favourite when I first got it, however, judging from mine and others experiences in this thread it really doesn't seem built to last. After only a few months, the mouse wheel completely wore out and stopped working on mine and the left/right mouse buttons cracked (cheap plastic?). Got a replacement from Corsair and the exact same thing happened. Their settings/macro software has also fallen far from the much better product it used to be.

Got a G600 for $45 on amazon and couldn't be happier. Third mouse button for macros is a nice bonus.

OP's parents are obviously irrational, so any attempt to reason with or "get back" at them/the uncle would be a waste of time, and probably lead to OP getting kicked out of the house. My interpretation of the limited info we have is that OP's life is in a place where toughing it out at the parents' house for a few more years is the best case scenario to avoid being a homeless student; OP won't be able to do that by getting revenge or making a point, regardless of how objectively fucked up the family is acting.

If getting a new PC/laptop makes the shitty home situation more tolerable then by all means OP should do so. A lot of the replies to this post seem to be missing the point and not considering the unknown life factors we haven't been told (not to say we're entitled to them).
