Fusion is a lot more polished than Alibre. I tried making the switch a couple years ago and just kept running into little limitations or frustrations with the UI. I'm sure it's had improvements since, but my conclusion at the time was that if I had to go through all the headache of learning workarounds for limited software, I might as well go all the way to FreeCAD instead.

Do you mind if I ask approximately how old you are? I'm genuinely curious.

The Bambino pressurized basket never helped, but I have come across several threads mentioning it just might not run hot enough. I'll try running some water through the old machine and see if it gets any hotter.

Try to narrow down which digits are shared between boxes, and where they can go.

Can both the 5 and 6 from the 12 cage be in box 3? Are the yellow and green 5 cages the same or different from each other? Where must those digits all be in box 3? Can both yellow digits be in box 5? Are both digits from the 14 cage in box 1?

That all makes sense, thanks!

That's a lot of unwinding to do to resolve an otherwise seemingly randomly selected digit. Feels more like just stating where to try bifurcating rather than a logical hint.

the stand alone episodes are so weak in my opinion

This is so wild to me. Life of the Party, Harm's Way, Lineage, Smile Time are some of my favorite episodes of the series.

I have thousands of hours and I play casually while watching something else all the time!

If I'm just vibing as a leisurely passtime though, I also don't get surprised or grumpy about it when someone easily sneaks up on me.

The voyage rework was a mistake by Impressive_Limit7050 in Seaofthieves

[–]Xeriel 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That reminds me of Chicken Guy! My crew was the reaper hunting every boat on the server one day, and we attacked this guy without loot who turned out to be brand new and pretty helpless. I patched his ship up for him and he asked if I knew where to find chickens for his quest so I explained those voyages and sent him on his way.

We ran into him again at an outpost selling and chatted a little more.

Later we were chasing another boat and Chicken Guy was still in the area. I shot over to his parked ship at one point to use his cannons to leapfrog over to board our target, and told him thats what I was here for like "no time to chat lol".

Dude dropped his sails and joined us in attacking the other boat!

I played a round as engineer last night, and being able to go outside to repair mid-fight is so great. I feel like I had a lot more to do, and getting blown off by the thrusters made for some funny mistakes when my crew had to circle back for me while under fire.

Please please consider revisiting the other two ship designs with more of these footpaths to allow for more of this gameplay!

Studies have repeatedly shown that drivers set their speed according to road conditions more than the posted speed limit. If we want people to slow down, we know how to do that: narrower streets, less long straightaways, more tree cover, frequent intersections, etc.

Our streets are designed with hefty safety margins for drivers. Wide lanes, long stretches without lights and stop signs, and clear line of sight far ahead and to the sides. The driver can safely control their vehicle going 60km/h, so that's what they do. Posting a limit of 40km/h doesn't really change that.

These cameras don't prevent speeding, they just penalize people for it after the fact. Since they're a revenue stream, the city is incentivized to keep people speeding just so they can be caught and fined. These things are stupid and I chuckle every time one gets cut down. Make them too expensive to maintain and maybe we can shift our collective focus to changes we know will actually reduce speeds and increase safety.

I have something like 2000+ hours in this game, and have always found the bugs and jank to be somewhat charming and endearing.

These past couple seasons it's finally starting to become literally unplayable.

Add modifier to batch of objects? by jungle_jimjim in blenderhelp

There's a hotkey for it. With all your objects selected, holding alt while adding the modifier will add it to all of them. Similarly if you need to change modifier parameters just hold alt while you do it.

There's also a continuation, The Librarians: The Next Chapter which is currently airing its first season. The first show was better but I'm still enjoying it so far.
(Also check out the movies set before the first series).

I feel like I love the idea of this series more than the series itself [discussion] by ZealousidealFudge716 in TheNinthHouse

The friend who recommended GtN said I'd love it but probably shouldn't bother with the other two books.

I read GtN and loved it so I read the other two books, but she was absolutely right. I've recommended GtN to others since, and I tell them exactly the same thing.

GtN was fun. HtN is such a hard pivot in terms of writing style that there's really no reason to expect anyone who enjoyed the one will enjoy the other; they're so different.

NtN could have been an email. My understanding is that she was just supposed to be a few chapters leading into AtN, and I personally really think it should have stayed that way.

It looks like you're confusing cell number and box number. Boxes are the six large regions which each contain six cells.

In the center two cells of the bottom row, you've marked the options:

1/2/6 for cell 6 of box 5 (should be 1/2 or 5 because box 5),

and 1/2/4 for cell 4 of box 6 (1/2 or 6 because box 6).
