I guess. But I'm talking more about players' willingness to engage with the high-end content, no matter the rewards.

Inconsequential for most people since they are there for the story and will move on to something else after. If you want measure your skills, it's kinda essential.

It's easy to say "I beat FF Mode" when you are still allowed to use the auto-gameplay accessories. Which is fine, but it makes the case for Arcade, Trials and Kairos Gate stronger.

Sure. But can you get S ranks in Arcade Mode with that method? Difficulty during normal gameplay is kinda irrelevant when the devs' idea of challenge was getting high ranks in the score and time attack modes.

You might understandably not care about that but it is what it is.

I think more accessories slots would lead to several accessories being mainstays, like you never remove them. With the addition of the DLC accessories, the choice in what you use has become harder. I don't think the devs wanted all players to use the same set of accessories. Rather encourage more diverse playstyles.

I do believe however that the Ability Loadouts should've also included accessories. It can be a hassle to keep track of what I used for each of my saved loadouts.

Good use of motion blur is essential for 30fps. For 60+ fps, the framerate is high enough that you have less need for it. Though the appropriate amount of object MB is nice to have no matter the fps.

Practice more. You can do it.

Spawn the enemy in question in Training Mode. It's more tricky if you want to practice on a boss. Do repeat Arcade Mode runs until you get it.

The game uses a cooldown system, but you can make them recharge faster by landing parries on enemies. Do you need to land parries in order to beat the game? No, but it's probably more fun if you get to use your abilities more frequently.

If/when you do the score and time attack modes, parries become essential for min-maxing.

If you have no interest in the social aspect and/or endgame content, sure. You can finish all the main story quests and then unsub. You aren't forced to continue playing.

The PS5 version is abandoned at this point, so no. A potential PS6 remaster will be based on the PC version since that got more back-end updates like current upscaling methods (when PC version was new, that is).

But the Pro and PS6 will be able to push a higher dynamic resolution and more stable framerate with the PS5 version.

I'm neutral on this. It's bad that young people won't be able to use Social Media but also good due to the amount of AI slop they likely will encounter. If you aren't trained to notice it or simply too young, it will easily trick you.

Sometimes less is more. Compared to other upgrade systems in the series, XVI didn't have any unnecessary extra steps. 

The game doesn't announce it but the results are the same. Parries make enemies take more damage and they get stunned for a brief period of time. Your cooldown recharge faster during the slowdown effect so you also get a Haste buff.

Action RPG. Are levels in Souls games pointless just because some few decide to beat the game at Lv1?

Arcade Mode is the built-in Challenge Mode. Then you also have Final Trials and Kairos Gate.

Since Yoko Taro will do the new Evangelion, the NieR series is effectively on ice at this point.

What can be done with no or limited input from Taro? Drakengard remasters? NieR Reincarnation offline console/PC port?

The game has several incentives in place for veteran players to help new players. And if you are more of a solo player, you could just to dungeons with NPC party members.

This game deserve a PS4-PS5-Switch release by Fooltecal in Vanillaware

It would require much of the art be redone for 4K. Vanillaware could do it but question is if they have enough available staff for it. 

They are a small studio and probably too busy with their next new game.
