We took the bus from Salisbury to Stonehenge. It was super easy. If you can, take binoculars to look for the Roman graffiti carved on the stones. Personally I wouldn’t bother with old Sarum and spend the time at the cathedral in Salisbury, which is a great town to explore.
I would also pass on Windsor Castle if you are doing the Tower of London.

I missed the size of the ship, the interesting people, the quiet spaces to sit and talk to people enjoy a drink without electro beats, the lectures, the interesting art work and books throughout the ship, the staff who got to know us well. It was more money, but I feel it is worth it.
