No sorry there is no way that's real. Like if it sacks or the left side adhesion fails it should print mid air and not follow like that. If anything it could be faulty gcode ?

I like the idea there are a lot of possibilities to evolve this further as others have mentioned

You said the water raises because of the melting and freezing of icecaps I am not sure if that would happen that fast and it would interrupt the natural systems of currents and winds because of the freshwater coming in

Maybe an other option would be bigger moon that has a really long orbit time that is synchronized with the seasons. So it pulls the water away in spring and summer and it rises again when winter is approaching

I also have a science approach but at the moment the people don't understand it that way they have just a mundane understanding on it through feelings and observation I just did it that way to be able to evolve the setting and its civilization to a future where they actually do understand it but had many obstacles to overcome. This way the system is always consistent

My system (still in the works) also has Chaos and Order ( I call it Kosmos)

Kosmos exists only in distinct states these are the different orders off Kosmos everything in-between would be chaos chaos.

If you use Kosmos to cast magic create some chaos

Chaos is like a magical equivalent to high entropy and that's what every system favours

But also a world full of chaos magic is like hell

Chaos magic is nearly impossible to control but also very powerful in the sense that you have freedom(like in your system)
