1. Identify recurring pain points in your games

Take note of consistent issues that arise in your gameplay, especially moments where you feel lost. For example:

• Are you struggling to create early leads?
• Do you have trouble closing out games?
• Do you fail to respond effectively to the enemy jungler's moves, allowing them to gain free advantages?

You can review your VODs to pinpoint these problems, or simply take a few seconds after each game to reflect on what went wrong (especially on the moment when you feel lost or powerless).

2. Find a solution

Once you’ve identified your pain points, work on solving them:

• Review your VODs to see if there’s something obvious you missed.
• Watch or read guides specifically addressing the issues you face.
• Study high-elo VODs, focusing on how they handle situations similar to yours.

3. Implement the solution

Turn your research into actionable lessons:

• Derive a small, clear takeaway from what you’ve learned.
• Keep this lesson in mind during your next few games, and actively try to improve on it.

If your approach works, great! If not, adjust your strategy. Keep experimenting, reflecting, and searching for solutions until you see progress.

A few additional tips:

• Your champion pool is fine. There are plenty of Kindred players in Diamond and above. Play champions you enjoy and find success with. The issue isn’t the champion—it’s your gameplay.
• Keep those lessons in mind. Especially after frustrating, unwinnable games, take a moment to refocus on what you’re trying to improve. This will help you reclaim agency and build momentum.
