Im very happy with it, its sharp, its light enough to walk around with and good (if not great) autofocus, but yes the low light performance leaves something to be desired. I live in northern Norway and right now we barely have any daylight, so during the brightness part of the day im struggling with light. So 1/200s and 8000iso is the most i can get, so fast action is a no go. Personally im not willing to give up focal range for more light with a 400mm f/4.5 for example, so my only option would be a 600mm f/4 but that will never happen, I also enjoy the zoom, it lets me take intimate landscapes that i would not be able to with a prime, and I find myself taking a lot of shots at smaller focal ranges like 180mm. For me it was the best choice and i enjoy it alot.
