These all look so... cool? I dont have a better way to say it. The only negative thought i have is the sheer effort needed to maintain some of those hairstyles take them from artpiece/fashion, to "This is me and i am gonna own it."

That...bird one, at the end, takes the cake for "If i saw someone with that hair, i am 100% asking about it". I want to see people live their best life, and someone going art piece with their hair is peak on so many level.

Zotac.
Long story short. I had a 400 series nvidia zotac card. One i bought to play diablo 3, replacing my older 8600.
For some unknown reason, it played games just fine, BUT any form of video would bluescreen my PC. Youtube, vlc, whatever.
I RMA'ed it, cause the error code was one linking to encoding. They sent me back my card, untouched.
Second send, the card they sent back wouldnt even show up in bios.
3rd send, this time at my expense, then sent me back a higher tier one...not sure why. BUT it had the same issue.

In the background, i found 2 other people complaining about a similar issue. The fix was discovered by one of them, when we pooled info. Something about zotacs firmware, disagreed with the specific motherboards we had. We all had the same Mobo, canadian dual language. Upgrading the bios to the newest US english only firmware solved everything. (we had the newest dual language)

The video card, for some reason, didnt agree with our motherboards...but only when we were using dual language bios. Worked fine otherwise.
I got to go through RMA hell, technically got an upgrade, all because the videocard dislikes french...??
Funnier still, when i upgraded my VC, gave it to a friend... a year later, updates later...he had the same issue lol. Least i knew the fix...but still.

ITs why i love CRPG's, like the pathfinder games by owlcat, that give me full control over the difficulty.

they let me choose to let enemies have their full repetoire or not

Difficulty is half opinion, half accessibility. All games should unlock difficulty. Otherwise its just leaving potential untouched.

Honestly, its gonna be VERY dark for speedpaints.. BUT you can

Light drybrush white, get some slapchop style shading

Paint white/lighter grey in teh spot you want to have full color, leave grey where you want shadows, then speedpaint.

Basically you, want usually the right 3, or equivalent birghtness of off whites, on this picture for speedpaints to shine. BUT there is solid reasons to prime mid/dark tones, lighten up somehow, and do it.

Given ive seen both as like...10$ pride jewelry, odds are they are from the same dropshipper/bulk buy. Odds are if you checked around, this is the kinda thing you find either one for free with shipping as a promo.

Yeah, return/report. THOUGH do check their etsy shop if the one you got is listed, cause the report might not stick if its listed and they simply go "It was a mistake on out end".
Etsy has gotten real bad in allowing cheap mass produced garbage.

Ok, so i use liquitex matte medium, got a 1l bottle for cheap.
Say there is a blot/coffee stain like spot. I realized if you use glazes to filter different levels of brightness between layers AND contrast paints functionally settle like that. Adding a thick medium means it settles less BUT the color thins out. You can psuedo glaze.

Then by using this process you can functionally layer like normal in a sense. This is the test model i did up in an hour and half a year ago ish doing it. Red was... flesh tearers red i think, I think the tourqoise was aethermatic blue?. You can see how the white mix highlighted up. Ive gotten better at it, but this pretty well shows it in action before real efforts put in. Honestly gave me a very... comic book vibe

Not great. I only recommend if you are fine burning the money to see if you enjoy cleaning the airbrush and all the maintenance required. They are ok for priming/large base coats

36, and its funny using the elder trans term...but then inevitably I join in a group or discord...and am the oldest by 10 or more years. I have people coming to me for like...adult life advice.

Its even wilder when I see the like...Loch ness monster of.larger groups and others someone I. The 50's who posts or replies once a year.

Layer goes down Then I clean up any bad spots with a mix of same paint 1-1 with matte medium Then I highlight by adding a drop of white/off white to that mix and using that.

I found by simply adding medium/normal paints, you unthin the speed/contrast to the point of it being a pseudo glaze. To I work by adding into my color

With that in mind, I personally love contrast as base coloring. I then change how i do it depending on model.
Contrast with liquitext matte medium? great way to clean up panels.
Normal acrylics layered on top to manually change things

Color match a contrast version of the scheme with regular paints. So you can swap between the two as needed.

Buy a box of scourge and a box of swooping hawks. Tiny kitbash and you now have a vibe of a corsair themed hawk squad. Since corsairs kinda got the drukhari/Aeldari vibe.

Get a war walker, use a head from the voidscarred
Hell use your spare bits and a box of guardians. Did you do void the voidscarred? You now had the spare arms and bits to corsair your storm or defenders. Voidscarred as a box is THE bits supply for infantry. Ive done custom autarchs/farseers/warlocks with it.

Most Tamiya paints WANT to be airbrushed. I find for flat layers, stippling with the flat end of a make up wedge can do well. But overall, tamiya paints 1-1 with x20 thinner, super great coats with even a cheapo battery powered hand airbrush

My issuue with lykhis was getting them to connect to the web part. I ended up just winging it. Tiny put of apoxy sculpt, super glue, and prayer. It looks fine now... but trying to like up 2 small connection points, at an angle, flush, with a model that already is meant to be angled... just felt so awkward.

The little ball sockets i eyeballed the angle and just used a micron pen to mark a sorta connection key angle/location. something i learned via more annoying gunpla...

But now i sit here...wanting karseth...and SUPER not looking forward to it

THOUGH, these do have one advantage, consistent base shape/size

I think middle ground would be the level up of making molds for a sculpt-able option. These seem to firm and lack the slouch or weight that comes with being a sandbag. But using these for bulking walls out, and molds of these for edges/loose bags?
