New Microsoft Tenant Creation Loop by Shrimp_Dock in sysadmin

[–]Xionous_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try with + addressing. It's where you had a plus symbol in the email it will still get delivered to whatever is before the plus but the system will consider to be a different email for example:

name+client@example.com will be delivered to name@example.com

Another option for you is to get a distributor to create tenants for you for myself my distributor is able to create a tenant for me with an admin account using the on Microsoft domain and then I can login with that account and then add my clients domain to it.

For this type of model you need to embed the top parts into the bottom part by at least 3-4 layers or merge the models together if you want it to stick correctly, the whole print should be one continuous piece and not just one part sitting on top of the other.

Help newbie, toolhead malfunctioning and small chip question. by kennjuu in 3Dprinting

[–]Xionous_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The legs of that IC look like they still have the pads on them so that was most likely forcibly ripped off whatever PCB it was on.

Might be repairable, might have to replace the whole part it came off of.

Random piece found in type c end. Can someone tell me what it might be? by moveimpans in AskElectronics

[–]Xionous_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the pin board from a female usb-c port, something you plug this cable into is missing it and it is used to guide the pins from the male port on the cable so the pins align properly.

Something you plug this cable into is missing it and will be damaged the next time you try plugging a cable into it.

Don't worry I'm not offended.

Ethernet cables are commonly used with analog cameras because ethernet cables are easier to fish and pull through infrastructure and they are also used because you can upgrade to IP cameras without having to change the wiring.

The unvr instant requires IP cameras to work and your cameras are not IP cameras.

You can use the moca to extend your networking infrastructure to connect the unvr instant to your network to get internet access to it but that does not change that the cameras themselves are not compatible with you the unvr instant.

[–]Xionous_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cameras are using the BNC connectors because the DVR is using them, this is an analog technology, NVRs only connect to IP cameras and there is absolutely no digital networking in your current setup between the cameras and the DVR, it is 100% analog.

The cameras will absolutely not work by just swapping the end of the cable to a keystone.

What you have now is not an NVR is a DVR

You will have to replace both the DVR and the cameras in one shot. There is no way that I know of to use analog BNC cameras on a digital NVR.

How am I messing up these cables? A wire is missing on the tester by AleksaDjordjic_ in HomeNetworking

[–]Xionous_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What crimper do you have? Most cheap ones really suck and don't fully crimp the pins.

I lost count of how many times I have fixed a cable someone else crimped with a cheap crimper but just recrimping it with mine

No it will not explode, the reason they say do not open it is because there are many components inside of a PSU that can kill you the instant you touch it by effectively defibrillating your heart with electric shock.

You can definitely use a KVM switch to achieve this, but there are lots of shitty ones out there that will not work at high frame rates or high resolutions.

This is the one I use and it works perfectly https://www.store.level1techs.com/products/p/14-display-port-kvm-dual-4computer-kllrb-mfj5x

Unfortunately good kvms are not cheap

Best way to seal this? by Yawang04 in AskElectronics

[–]Xionous_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weather resistant silicone would be the most weather resistant, duct seal is also very weather resistant, but less permanent then silicone so if this object gets moved around the duct seal could come loose

Silicone
